I meant to quote the DJweed one, you were kinda involved there too but I wasn't quoting you as much as i was quoting what you were quoting, you just happened to be in it. Neither one of us were talking about Melissa or Mercedes. At all. We were discussing 3G and the tag titles so I still have no idea why you lumped us into your frankly bizarre fixation on needing to explain Mercedes not being there in October. |

Weed was talking about Tomoaka Nakagawa leaving, and newer faces getting opportunities to replace those who are leaving or have left. Of course we know there will be some sort of streamer throw for the last match of Nakagawa's. That's where my stuff about the Power Trip started. |

"She retired" or "she took a hiatus" is simple enough. When you say "retire" you kinda throw that "maaaaan why couldn't she wrestle 1 more time for us?" vibe to the fans Regardless if she's heel or baby. That's something that should be cautiously used. Also a sense of jealously towards Canada and even Australia as her last US match was SHINE 18 w/Deeb, She had a series of matches in Australia for Mana in May and then dropping the NCW-FF title last month. So unless you had the ability to go to canada (or obviously live in Canada), you didn't get to be there live for the moment just in case it was her last. Like I said I hope it's the latter more than the former because the way I see it, certain workers shouldn't just disappear and reinforce the "what have you done for me lately" way of the business when one thing goes and another thing replaces it to the point the old thing is just the past. Like Mercedes goes, we now have Ivelisse & La Rosa Negra as Boricua Wrestlers to focus on, and the cycle continues. And it applies to anything, not just the "Captain obvious" groupings. So what you're saying is DP and Danger should book one of the Colons since MM is going on hiatus? I'm also one to ration my wrestling enjoyment into tiny compartments of heritage and ethnicity. Thankfully SHIMMER satisfies my quota of half-Samoan kiwis, wrestlers from the 50's, a million wrestlers from Ohio and a dancing fox/humanoid hybrid that's addicted to sugary drinks. |

Apart from one, those videos posted by the SHIMMER Twitter account all feature one woman in common. A woman who around 20 years ago was a part of several 5 star matches... and let's just say I'd like to see this woman against Saraya Knight. But I'll wait until the official announcement until I comment any further.

It's most likely a hint more about AKINO than it would be about Fabi as Dave's said that booking AAA girls is hard, though I'd mark out for a Mexican wrestler in Shimmer at last.
