I kind of like the different way talent have been announced so far, either through those pictures (like the one Dave posted today of Cherry Bomb), or through SHINE announcements, or AAW for the October 17th show. Now to wait and find out which Joshi are coming over other than Nakagawa, though you'd think Kana and Shida would be nailed on at this point...

I want to see this woman walk away from the weekend with the Shimmer Championship. Also 3G will lose I suppose. Kimber Bombs next champions? I think it will be Knight/O'Reilly winning the tag straps. Also I wonder what will be of the 2 Woman Power Trip. We know obviously Melissa will be in the house as she's the champ. I think the bigger question is Will Mercedes be there and if not, how will Melissa explain MM's absence?

Shida will be in Spain at the time the shows take place. The joshi contingent, with the exception of Tomoka and Kana, will all be debuts. Hiroyo's out due to surgery with the torn ACL. It's high priority to make sure our early 2015 dates match up with Shida's and Hiroyo's schedules. Though it'd be great to have them this time, the arrival new talent does make for some fresh new match combinations for the shows. As far as Mercedes is concerned, this past NCW-FF show was her last appearance before beginning a much needed hiatus from wrestling.

Shame about Shida (I was looking forward to buying her new DVD off her), but excited to see who gets brought over for a debut. Given the video that got posted recently, if it's who I think it is, one of the ladies is a way overdue debut.

What's up with Hamada? I would've thought she was getting a match with Melissa after what happened on 57.

I can only assume they are worried about her not being allowed to work like what happened at 58-61.

She's not an option right now. If/when possible, we will bring her back.

I still think Melissa should make some sort of mention at the tapings to break that up like saying "She never returned my calls" or "She disappeared off the face of the earth, fine I never needed her, she rode my coat tails because she knew that's how close to this belt she would be as she couldn't beat me for it" and if MM Does return in time, maybe set up something down the road between the two.

Wow, what a match!!! Without knowledge of the back story, this match was wrestled with urgency and intensity. From bell to bell it built and built. A brutal kickfest to be sure, there's something for everybody here. Not sure what our fearless leaders have in mind, but any one of these great performers would be tremendously welcomed in a few weeks! Thanks for sharing this particular match Dave, as it was a blast to watch!

It doesn't get any better than early 1990's AJW and JWP -- great stuff. If this is a hint about a joshi SHIMMER debut, it must be pointing toward Mayumi Ozaki or Manami Toyota (Yamada is retired and I'd be surprised if Kansai made the trip). Both are massive joshi legends who are now in their 40's but still great at what they do in the ring. Ozaki is the quintessential heel and Toyota the epitome of an athletic "face." Love them both. They have both done tours of the USA before -- both were a part of CHIKARA's Joshimania in 2011. Full of anticipation about what SHIMMER has in store! Here's a photo I took of Ozaki bullying Cherry at Joshimania.

I saw a recent Toyota match. It wasn't pretty sadly.

Looks like we've got TNA KNOCKOUT HAVOK coming to visit us... or just plain ol' Jessicka Havok to us. Either way, Portia Perez is screwed.

Right now it's the best 5 week advance since we started doing the 2 day taping weekends. I'm determined to fill the building.
