Christina Von Eerie vs. Angie Skye w/ Kath Von Goth Angie Skye received challenge after challenge lately, but is still without that big victory that would bring her directly to the top of the ranking of Femmes Fatales and that would continue to build her reputation internationally. She has again a big task in front of her on July 6th as she will have to face on the star of the indy scene, the always excellent Christina Von Eerie, who wrestled for a short while in TNA. Will Angie be able to get that huge needed win? Leah Von Dutch & Xandra Bale w/ Bettie Rage vs. Deziree & Midianne This contest was scheduled for March 30th, but because of injuries was changed to a single match between Midianne and Xandra Bale… Bettie Rage did a huge first impression by helping Midianne to win the match and crowd saw quickly how vicious she could be. Will Bettie Rage be able to have a big impact on this tag team war?

Two of the independent women’s wrestling scene rising stars will face off on July 6th, both hoping for a championship fight in the near future. Even if the fight isn’t billed as a first contender match, the roads that Courtney Rush and Kalamity are travelling definitely brings them towards that goal. Kalamity just lost her title after more than 17 months being champion and she wants to prove that she is still champion material. Courtney Rush is on a 3 matches winning streak and never looked that strong. It will be a first fight between those 2… And we can say that the respect that both women have for each other will give us a great wrestling match! It all began last November as Portia Perez left the ring during her match against Pink Flash Kira, telling the crowd that Kira doesn’t deserve to be in the same ring as her. Last March, the revenge match was announced but Portia sent a video to Femmes Fatales telling them she wasn’t showing up because she doesn’t want to be there… The match is now confirmed for July 6th and the Femmes Fatales promoter already met with Portia to be sure she would be there this time. If not, there would be disciplinary measures taken against her and, not only Femmes Fatales measures. The question we can ask ourselves: "Will we finally see this match on July 6th?"

Is it Von Goth or Von McGoth? The graphic and the text are different. Web site says Von Goth. This match graphic says Von McGoth.

KALAMITY OUT OF ACTION Please note that due to personal reasons, Kalamity will be out of the action for an undisclosed period of time. We would ask you to not contact her directly and if you have questions or messages, we will give them to her. Pllease send your emails at ncwfemmesfatales@hotmail.fr. No more details or questions will be answered publicly on this matter. Thanks for your understanding. #1 CONTENDER MATCH Cheerleader Melissa vs. Courtney Rush On July 6th, the next contender for the International Femmes Fatales Championship will be determined as Courtney Rush will face Cheerleader Melissa. Those two faced each other at SHIMMER last April and will now be in the same ring in Montreal with a goal in mind: Getting closer to the International Femmes Fatales Championship. Who will be declared the No. 1 Contender? A FIRST TIME MATCH LuFisto w/ pegaboo vs. Kimber Lee A match that will for sure bring a lot of attention on July 6th will oppose the young sensation Kimber Lee to the veteran LuFisto. Both wrestlers have performed for Combat Zone Wrestling where Lee actually graduated from the CZW Academy as LuFisto has been the first women to enter the cage of Death and win the Iron-Man Championship.Kimber Lee recently made her successful debut at the last SHIMMER taping. LuFisto will make her in-ring return after her knee injury from last April. An explosive match up can be expected. A WIN CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING Missy vs. Sassy Stephie w/ Mademoiselle Rachelle Last March, Missy had an injury that prevented her from wrestling during FFXI and she now wants to get back on track knowing that a win against Sassy Stephie would for sure help her to climb the Femmes Fatales ranking. Stephie is on a 2 matches losing streak and wants to get back on the road to victory. This is definitely an important match-up for both of them. TWO RETURNS IN MONTREAL She Nay Nay vs. Veda Scott Those 2 wrestlers will be back in Montreal and ready for everything to get the win. She Nay Nay was not part of the last show and quickly wants to remind the crowd who she is. Veda Scott, a student from the Ring of Honor (ROH) dojo, did a good first impression last July and she is looking for another winning outcome!

Hope everyone who goes tomorrow has lots of fun - was just thinking about the card, and here I'll give my thoughts on the matches and who I think will win.
NCW FEMMES FATALES INTERNATIONAL TITLE MATCH: MERCEDES MARTINEZ (c) vs. SWEET CHERRIE Mercedes will want to start her title reign off hot, but Cherrie will want to bring the title back to Quebec and avenge both LuFisto and Kalamity's losses to the champion. I think Cherrie puts in a hell of an effort, one that will catch Mercedes off guard, but I think at the end of the day, Mercedes has a little too much big match experience, and that will see her through to a successful title defence.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH: CHEERLEADER MELISSA vs. COURTNEY RUSH SHIMMER Champion vs. Bellatrix Champion in a rematch from the main event of SHIMMER Volume 55 in April. Back in Berwyn, we saw the first signs of Melissa's change in attitude with how she roughed up Rush during the match before giving her a brutal Kudo Driver to end it. This will help Rush, as she knows what Melissa's all about now. What she doesn't know is if Melissa will bring her surly Berwyn attitude to Montreal. However, I think Courtney is better prepared for whatever Melissa brings, and as this is nearer home, I believe Rush gets the big win, and the title shot at Volume XIII.
LuFISTO vs. KIMBER LEE What a place for Kimber Lee to make her Femmes Fatales debut, against the Queen of Quebec... in her comeback match. But then again, this could play into Lee's favour, as although LuFi will want to have a great return for her hometown fans, this is still the first match in three months, and who knows how well her knee will hold up. It's obviously the biggest bullseye in the world for Lee to target, and seeing what she's like in other places, you know she'll go for it. I know it's LuFisto in Montreal, looking for a major comeback win, but I have a feeling she's prime for an upset, and that knee will cost her initially, as Kimber Lee makes her mark with a shock win to establish her as a major player in independent women's wrestling.
CHRISTINA VON EERIE vs. ANGIE SKYE It's been more defeats than wins for Skye in recent shows, but her losses have come to big names like Jessie McKay, Athena, Cheerleader Melissa and Kellie Skater, so she's not afraid of taking on more experienced and world travelled opponents. All she needs is a win over such an opponent to get her career properly going, and she gets another chance here against Christina von Eerie, who's recently completed a tour of Japan. And with Kat von Goth in her corner, I have a feeling now will finally be the time for Skye to break through and get that huge win to establish her as a threat in the industry going forward.
PINK FLASH KIRA vs. PORTIA PEREZ A match pretty much a year in the making. It was Kira who was used as hostage bait by the Canadian Ninjas to lure out the Queens of Winning that allowed the Ninjas to become two time SHIMMER Tag Team Champions a year ago this weekend. They had a match in November, only for Portia to walk out on it. The rematch was scheduled for March, but Portia refused to take part in it, sending in a video to that extent. This time, she's being strong-armed into having the match, facing sanctions if she doesn't. Portia claims that she's way above Kira, and doesn't need to wrestle her to prove it, but this could well be a case of her being a Chicken Ninja. Kira's improved a lot since the first disrupted match, and I think she shows her skills here in getting her statement win over Portia.
SHE NAY NAY vs. VEDA SCOTT She Nay Nay has a pretty spotty record in Femmes Fatales, picking up wins here and there but not really being consistent. Veda returns for her second appearance, getting a win over Mary Lee Rose at Volume IX. It's anyone's match, but Veda's been more active lately from what I've researched, and she'll parlay this into a victory over She Nay Nay.
MISSY vs. SASSY STEPHIE Missy is another talent trying to break through to the next level, and she may have caught Sassy Stephie at the right time, as Stephie's lost her last two matches in Femmes Fatales, to X-Cute Sweet and Sweet Cherrie - common theme running there, no? But there's nothing Sweet about Missy, and the Sassy One has Mademoiselle Rachelle at her disposal, and at the end of the day, I think this will tell, and Stephie gets back on the winning track.
LEAH VON DUTCH & XANDRA BALE vs. MIDIANNE & DEZIREE Since her last appearance in Femmes Fatales back in November, LVD has spent a month in the UK, broadening her skills, and taking on higher quality opponents since her return. She'll utilise her new found skills in this tag match, a bout that was meant to take place in March, but did not due to injuries. This stems from a trios match in November, where LVD and Bale's team got the win over a team containing Midianne and Deziree. Midianne was able to get a singles victory over Bale in March, so this is a rubber match of sorts. The x factor could well be Bettie Rage in Midianne and Deziree's corner, but I think she'll be neutralised, and Von Dutch and Bale pick up the win.

In case someone is attending the event please post the results here. I am in Montreal, but, ironically, will be working during the event at the same venue. However, i wil be on the first floor till 10.30. Won't be able to make it. If someone is going to Coin Du Metro for the after party, send me a PM. I will try to take pictures of the after party if i am able to make it and maybe try to interview some of the girls.

So Mercedes will be sitting pretty as FF champ until at least March, unless she defends the belt on male NCW shows, or outside the promotion. Interested to see the events which led to (a) Melissa and Courtney blowing up, and (b) how Portia chickened out AGAIN.

The show sounds very good. I'm pretty interested in seeing quite a few matches here There's only one thing about Mercedes Martinez being champion that I don't like is that she doesn't get to defend the championship as frequently as the other girls that came before her since if she weren't to defend the title by FFXIV it would have been more that 200 days without defending it

Did Melissa turn heel at the show? Seems like it. Sounds like another great show all in all.
Vacate the throne. Queen LuFisto hath returned.
