keep going, guys, doesn't have to end right here, lol.
Unfortunately, due to a problems with both wrestlers, I wasn't able to conduct the interviews with Sassy Stephie and Kellie Skater that I was supposed to. Mostly due to the fact I never got within 30 feet of Stephie and couldn't find Skater night 1 and she had no voice night 2. However, I'm working on something with Skater, and might be able to salvage it.

odd thing, she sounded fine during intermission in between 51 and 52, when I talked to her for a few seconds. Well, at Paisan's, at least she was able to squeak out an "I'm sorry" yo me after elbowing my nads accidentally...

Bit of a read, but sure, i'll post them here. Here are the Top 10 Tag teams in SHIMMER History
10) MelisChif: Cheerleader Melissa and MsChif- Once rivals, now teammates. Our number ten team essentially earned each other’s respect by beating the ever loving hell out of each other in a series of matches early on in their SHIMMER careers. However, in a shocking turn of events, MsChif would be the one to save Melissa from an attack by the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew at Volume 7, leading to the two of them tagging up at several shows after, including to face MHWC at Volume 8.
9) ReGeneration X: Leva Bates and Allison Danger- One of the quirkier teams in SHIMMER, this Doctor Who inspired team shows the quirkier, more fun-loving side of wrestling. Known for dressing up as different characters (notably as Mario and Luigi at Volume 47 when facing the Queens of Winning), they’re never afraid to have a little fun in the ring while wrestling.
8) The Experience: Lexie Fyfe and Malia Hosaka- A pair of legendary female wrestlers creating one of the first dominating teams in SHIMMER history. With more wins than losses in their SHIMMER careers, it made complete sense for them to make it into the Tag Team gauntlet Volume 21, where they would be the last team eliminated by the eventual champions… who you will have to wait and see if they actually made it on here.
7) Daizee Haze and Tomoka Nakagawa- A team that set yet another standard in SHIMMER. During Haze and Nakagawa’s 188 day reign as Tag Team Champs, they would become the first tag team to defend the titles on Pay Per View, as they defended the tag titles at Honor Take Center Stage during Wrestlemania Weekend in 2011. This is also the first time the titles were held by a SHIMMER original, as Daze has been with the company since Volume 1. Definitely a huge standard to keep up with.
6) Knight Dynasty: Saraya Knight and Britani Knight- Taking Family Feud to a whole other level, Britani and Saraya made their mark by beating teams and beating teams up. Winning their first match as a team by disqualification thanks to their manager, this team would set a course by tearing through SHIMMER on their way to the top. While Saraya currently holds the SHIMMER Championship, who knows what would’ve happened with Britani is she didn’t have to leave.
5) Seven Star Sisters: Hiroyo Matsumoto and Misaki Ohata- Never a team to be taken lightly, the Seven Star Sisters would win the belts at Volume 37, ending the almost 2 year reign of the Canadian Ninjas, only to lose the belts the next day to Haze and Nakagawa. However, although they may hold the reign for the shortest reign by length of time, they still have more successful defense than Del Rey and Rush and Haze and Nakagawa combined.
4) The Ohio Girls: Neveah and Ashley Lane- SHIMMER’s first Tag Team Champions, beating out 5 other teams in a gauntlet match, Lane and Neveah certainly hold their place among the greatest teams in SHIMMER history. Along with having the second most successful title defenses, they also hold the second longest tag title reign in SHIMMER history. The record holders… you’ll just have to wait a little bit to find out.
3) Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew: Lacey and Rain- Spanning multiple companies, MHWC are a long time running tag team, with matches in several different companies, including SHIMMER and ROH. While never winning the tag titles, mostly due to the fact that titles didn’t exist in SHIMMER during their run, their presence was always known throughout the SHIMMER roster.
2) Ayumi Kurihara and Ayako Hamada- An odd little factoid about our number 2 team. While they have one of the shorter reigns as SHIMMER Tag Team Champions (only 169 days), they hold the record for most successful defenses of the titles with 7 (Lane and Neveah held the previous record with 6). Defeating teams like Knight Dynasty, ReGeneration X, and The Oncoming Hatred, this was a team never to be taken lightly and always commanded respect
Well, here we are, down to the greatest Tag Team in SHIMMER history. And yet… there’s still 2 former tag champs that haven’t been mentioned, so which team gets the dupe in this case? Well, it should be pretty obvious (especially if you skipped ahead, you cheaters). The Number 1 Tag Team in SHIMMER History is…
1) Canadian NINJAs: Nicole Matthews and Portia Perez- Expect anything different? The only 2 time tag team champions in SHIMMER history, and the longest reigning tag team champions in SHIMMER history, the Canadian NINJAs of Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews top our list as the greatest team in SHIMMER history. While also very good singles wrestlers, putting on great matches, they are easily known as being one of the best tag teams in the world, let alone in women’s wrestling. Unquestionably, the overwhelming vote as the top team in SHIMMER history

Top 11 Moments in SHIMMER History...
11) Sarah Stock debuts/ beats Cheerleader Melissa- A newcomer to SHIMMER, Sarah Stock was added to the SHIMMER Title Tournament as an International Wildcard, due to Serena Deeb getting into a car accident before the show, and being unable to make it in time. She would face a very formidable challenger in Cheerleader Melissa, a favorite to win the tournament. After a back and forth battle, though, Sarah would surprise everyone in attendance and pick up the victory over Melissa. She would also go on to defeat MsChif before falling in the semi-finals to eventual tournament winner, Sara Del Rey.
10) Madison Eagles Wins the Shimmer Title- After defeating Cheerleader Melissa in a #1 Contender’s Match at Volume 30, Madison Eagles would be next in line at Volume 31 to take her shot at MsChif for the title. MsChif, having held the title since winning it at Volume 18, nearly 2 years prior, was still the favorite to retain. However, it was not meant to be. After a back and forth 12 minute battle, Eagles would hit MsChif with Hellbound, kicking MsChif off of the SHIMMER throne that she had held for the previous 12 shows, ushering in a new era in SHIMMER.
9) DeathRush wins the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles- Sometimes, even opposites attract. Such was the case at Volume 48 for Sara Del Rey and Courtney Rush. Sara had tried her hardest to find a tag team partner she found worthy, only to be shot down by everyone. Only one person would step up for Sara… the person annoying her the most, Courtney Rush. Rush would try everything she could to get Sara to make her her tag partner, including offering her gum. In the end, Sara would cave in and say yes. Well, kind of… Yes to the gum, actually. But, Courtney took it for what it was worth. And, at Volume 48, DeathRush would shock everyone by not only working, but defeating Hamada and Kurihara, ReGeneration X, and the defending champions, the Canadian NINJAs, becoming the new Tag Team Champs in doing so.
8) Serena Deeb defeats Sara Del Rey at Volume 22- You know the old saying “third time’s a charm”? Well, that rings true in this case. Because, it would take Serena 3 chances to defeat Sara Del Rey in a one on one match. But finally, at Volume 22, after receiving a bit of a pep talk from MsChif at Volume 21, which included the offer of a title match if Serena could pull the upset, Serena would shock the Berwyn Eagles Club by hitting the spear on Death Rey and beating her in the middle of the ring, finally exacting her revenge, and earning a title shot in the meantime. A title shot she would be unsuccessful in.
7) Britani and Saraya Knight Brawl- Enough was enough. Britani Knight had finally taken enough flack from her mother, Saraya Knight, and wasn’t going to take it anymore. And, at Volume 43, she would show everyone that she had enough, in explosive fashion. After being defeating by Jessie McKay in a match, Saraya would get into the ring to ream Britani out some more, as is usual. However, Britani had finally had enough and fought back, setting off one of the wildest brawls in SHIMMER history. In the end, they would fight for almost 10 minutes, and it would take nearly a dozen men to separate them to get them backstage. It is still considered to be one of the wildest scenes to ever take place in the Berwyn Eagle’s Club.
6) Ashley Lane and Neveah become first ever SHIMMER Tag Team Champions. In the longest match in SHIMMER history, 6 teams would enter into a gauntlet match at Volume 21. The goal? Be the last team standing. The prize? Becoming the first ever SHIMMER Tag Team Champions. In a proverbial who’s who of tag team wrestling, the Ohio Girls of Ashley Lane and Neveah would outlast 5 other teams, including the final 2 teams, who they would face, the become the first ever SHIMMER Tag Team Champions. I guess you could say the competition was knocked out by them…
5) Sara Del Rey hits the Royal Butterfly on Amazing Kong- It’s a feat that leaves many people baffled even to this day. Sure, Sara Del Rey had hit the Royal Butterfly before, that’s no sweat. But, to hit it on someone the size of Amazing Kong? It was unbelievable. Not only was it the fact that Sara even got Kong up into the Royal Butterfly lock, but Sara was also able to hit the suplex to follow it up. Maybe people often forget that this match actually ended in a countout. And, it’s pretty easy, considering that fact that this move was unlike anything that anyone had ever seen before.
4) Rebecca Knox returns to SHIMMER as manager of the Knight Dynasty- After being gone from SHIMMER since losing at Volume 6, Rebecca Knox decided that it was the right time to return at Volume 37, nearly 5 years later. However, she would not come alone… She had decided to not be an in-ring competitor anymore, and instead jumped into the manager’s league. Her team? The debuting Knight Dynasty comprised of Britani Knight (Current FCW Diva Paige) and Saraya Knight (Current SHIMMER Champion). They would face Pretty Bitchin’ in their debut match. In all of the chaos, Ariel and Roxx would be disqualified for using knucks that Rebecca brought into the ring.
3) Serena Deeb returns to SHIMMER, answering Kellie Skater’s Open Challenge- She had been gone since Volume 27, leaving to head east to become a diva. But, on September 11, 2010, at Volume 33, fans in attendance got to witness the return of Serena Deeb, in a dramatic fashion. As the Rate Tank, Kellie Skater issued yet another open challenge, many wondered who it would be to answer it this time. When Kellie turned her back to the entrance ramp, fans noticed someone head to the ring and simply stand in the middle, setting the Berwyn Eagle’s Club off with thunderous applause. When Kellie turned back around, she would be met with Serena Deeb, returning after being gone since May 2009. Kellie would put up a fight as best she could against this shocking opponent. But, in the end, Serena would get the dupe.
2) Cheerleader Melissa wins the SHIMMER Title- Sara had won it. MsChif had won it. When was it Melissa’s turn. Melissa was one of the founding members of SHIMMER, and is still one of only 2 wrestlers to participate in all 48 SHIMMER events, a streak that is likely to continue with these tapings. After losing a #1 Contenders Match against Madison Eagles at Volume 30, then losing to Eagles in a title match at 33 in Madison’s first title defense, and Melissa’s first title match, many wondered when, or if, Melissa would be champion. After being challenged by Madison to work her way up through the roster, and gain some wins, Melissa would proceed to spout off wins at 37, 38, 39, 41, and 42, before beating Kana at 43 to be declared the #1 Contender. And this time, she would not be denied. After an incredibly hard fought battle that saw Melissa get out of Hellbound on multiple occasions, and Madison kick out of 2 Air Raid Crashes, Melissa would roll out of another Hellbound attempt, catch Madison in a roll-up, and get the count of 3 to become SHIMMER’s 4th ever champion, setting off a wild celebration by the crowd, who had been behind Melissa during her entire SHIMMER career.
Now, before we get to number 1, I would once again like to thank everyone for voting on this particular poll, along with the other ones. It was not an easy task to try and take all of the wonderful memories for SHIMMER, and smash them down to only 10. But, I thank everyone for trying their best. And now, the number one moment in SHIMMER history as voted on by SHIMMER fans is…
1) Sara Del Rey becomes the first ever SHIMMER Champion- It started with 16, it ended with 1. On June 1st, 2007, SHIMMER started a tournament to crown their first ever champion. In a tournament that featured well-known names like Melissa and MsChif, and lesser known names like Eden Black and Sarah Stock, this tournament had it all. But, in the end, there would only be one person who could call herself the champion. And, as the referee’s hand came down for three in the finals, that person would be none other than Sara Del Rey. Sara would go through an extremely tough string of opponents, defeating Cindy Rogers, Alicia, Sarah Stock, and Lacey, in order, on her road to becoming champion. And, as “Final Countdown” blared over the speakers, and the crowd chanted “you deserve it”, a new era was ushered in to SHIMMER, as they finally had their leader and top dog. And Sara Del Rey had the privilege of being the first person to be that leader.

Top 12 Matches in SHIMMER History...
11) Mercedes Martinez vs. Sara Del Rey- Volume 1: An absolute classic. A back and forth battle that would begin the first of SHIMMER’s great rivalries. A technical match where neither woman was able to gain a major advantage over their opponent long enough to gain the victory. The ending would come as Mercedes would hit her fisherman buster to pin Sara, only for the bell to ring, signifying a 20 minute time limit draw. This match earned the crowd’s overwhelming approval and a standing ovation at the end.
10) MsChif vs. Amazing Kong- Volume 9: The irresistible force met the immovable object. And sometimes, you take an ass-whipping and come back as hard as you can. That’s the best way to describe this match. MsChif would bring every ounce of energy she had against the massive Kong. In the end, it would be Kong who would come out with the victory. But, after the fight that the crowd had just witnessed, they showed respect to both athletes by giving them a standing ovation.
9) Britani Knight vs. Saraya Knight- Volume 44: Taking “Family Feud” to a whole new level, Britani Knight would face off against her mother, Saraya, in a No Disqualification Match at Volume 44. These two would go back and forth beating the hell out of each other with any thing they could find, including the guardrail and steps. In the end, Britani would gain the victory in her final SHIMMER match, giving her a send-off worthy of someone overcoming the odds.
8) Ayumi Kurihara vs. Ayako Hamada- Volume 38: The epitome of what SHIMMER is all about. Bringing international wrestling stars to the american audience. And this match was what it was hyped up to be 16 minutes of the best in Joshi Puroresu action. Hard-hitting, classic technical wrestling, this match had it all. In the end, Hamada would defeat Kurihara after not one, but two AP Crosses. After the match, both Kurihara and Hamada would thank the crowd for their support, as this match took place shortly after the earthquake and monsoons that would affect Japan like never before.
7) Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, Madison Eagles & Tomoka Nakagawa vs. Ayumi Kurihara, Ayako Hamada, Cheerleader Melissa, & Serena Deeb- Volume 36: In SHIMMER’s version of a Survivor Series match, these 8 combatants would square off in an 8 woman elimination tag team match. With eliminations occurring throughout the match, it would come down to then-SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles going against Hamada and Melissa. Eagles would not be able to overcome the odds, though, as Hamada would hit an AP Cross, and Melissa would hit an Air Raid Crash, earning Melissa a pinfall over the champ, along with a victory for their side.
6) Serena Deeb vs. Madison Eagles- Volume 41: In her second ever SHIMMER Title match, and first since returning to SHIMMER, Serena Deeb would challenge Madison Eagles in front of a raucous Eagle’s Club crowd. This also occurred shortly after Madison was named #1 on the PWI’s Female 50, and she let everyone know. In an intense 16 minute battle, which featured both opponents fighting in the crowd, and Madison reversing Serena’s signature spear into a brain buster, it would take dirty tactics by Madison to give her enough time to recuperate enough to hit Hellbound and continue her reign.
5) Madison Eagles vs. Jessie McKay- Volume 35: Former friends, now enemies. Madison Eagles would face off against her former Pink Ladies teammate, and it would be for her SHIMMER Title. In a 20 minute battle, Madison would do everything she could, including cheat, to defeat her opponent. But, with every pin attempt, and every move, Jessie would continue to show her tenacity and would kick out at 2. However, in the end, Madison would hit Hellbound after taking Jessie off of the 2nd rope, to pick up the victory, and her third successful title defense.
4) Nicole Matthews vs. Jessie McKay- 2 out of 3 Falls- Volume 39: After picking a pair of pinfall victories over Nicole at Volumes 33 and 38, Jessie would wrestle to settle the score with Nicole, this time in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Nicole would take the first fall, and Jessie would take the second fall after 3 big boots, setting up the battle for the final fall. After battling for over 20 minutes, Matthews would hit a brain buster, followed by the Vancouver Maneuver, to gain the victory, and exorcise her demons against McKay
3) Cheerleader Melissa vs. Madison Eagles- Volume 44: In what may be one of the greatest SHIMMER Title match of all time, Cheerleader Melissa would get her second shot at Madison Eagles for the SHIMMER Title. After winning 6 of her previous 7 matches, Melissa would come into the match on one of her hottest streaks ever. On this night, Melissa would become the 3rd SHIMMER original to gain championship gold, reversing Eagle’s Hellbound into a schoolboy pinfall victory, setting off a wild celebration at the Berwyn Eagle’s Club. A feeling of joy would overcome both Melissa and the crowd, as the show would end on a high note… until Nicole Matthews jumped Melissa from behind, hitting the Vancouver Maneuver to end the show.
2) Cheerleader Melissa vs. MsChif- Falls Count Anywhere- Volume 4: In one of SHIMMER’s bloodiest matches, Melissa and MsChif would fight each other in a Falls Count Anywhere match that would go all over the place. From the audience to the concession bar to the stairs, even outside of the Eagle’s Club, these two would do whatever they could, and use whatever they could to try and keep their opponent on whatever ground they could find for the three count. Fighting towards the entrance, Melissa and MsChif would battle onto a stack of tables. It would take Melissa putting an inverted cloverleaf on MsChif, while bending her back so far that she was kicking a chair into her own head before MsChif would finally be forced to tap, giving Melissa the victory.
You know the deal. This is the part where I thank you for all of the votes for the greatest matches in SHIMMER history, and tell you to check back both tomorrow and all next week. For the final week, there’s really only one thing left. We get down to what everyone has waited for, as we get down to the main parts of SHIMMER, and that’s simply… The Wrestlers. But first, here is your vote for the greatest match in SHIMMER history. And, quite frankly… it should be almost common knowledge by now…
1) Sara Del Rey vs. Ayako Hamada- Volume 28: No Disqualification, No Countouts, No Excuses. Well, kind of. After getting herself intentionally disqualified very shortly into their match, only 3 minutes in, thanks to using a chair YET AGAIN, Hamada would insist on continuing their fight. Then, with enough egging on, Bryce would continue the match with No DQ and No Countouts allowed. In a wild brawl all over the Berwyn Eagle’s Club, Sara and Ayako would take full advantage of the lack of rules by throwing each other all over and beating the ever loving hell out of each other with whatever they could find… food included. After kicking out of Hamada’s AP Cross, Sara would pick up the victory not after hitting the Royal Butterfly, but after hitting Hamada with a Piledriver. An absolutely amazing match that now can go down as the greatest match in SHIMMER’s history.

And the last one... The Top 11 Wrestlers in SHIMMER History-
11) Nicole Matthews- Known more for being in a tag team, Matthews is also a very good singles competitor. Engaging in battles against wrestlers like Cheerleader Melissa for the title, and having a time limit draw against Daizee Haze, Nicole has definitely made her name as both a tag tam wrestler and a singles wrestler. I could mention the fact that she is one half of the two time and current reigning SHIMMER Tag Team Champions, but I wouldn’t be mentioning anything we don’t already know, right? What a second…
10) LuFisto- One of the most intense wrestlers on the roster, Super Hardcore Anime has definitely put up a fight against anyone she has come into the ring with. Debuting at Volume 7, LuFi was dumped right in with the sharks, starting her career with matches against Mercedes Martinez and Allison Danger. However, it would be her intensity in the ring, along with her loyal companion, Pegaboo, that would keep her so beloved by the SHIMMER audience. Her hard-hitting ways were greatly apparent in her match against KANA, when LuFi would put up such a fight that she earned KANA’s respect enough to have a handshake returned by KANA, being the first in a SHIMMER ring to have done so. Don’t let her nice and cutesy outside fool you, she’ll beat the ever loving hell out of you
9) Serena Deeb- Known for her technical ability in the ring, along with her ability to overcome odds, Deeb has set out to prove herself worthy in SHIMMER’s ring. Debuting at Volume 5, Deeb would work her way up the SHIMMER roster through match after match, until she made it to the big dog in the yard, Sara Del Rey. In a trio of matches that made her known, Serena was finally able to beat Sara on the third try to shock the Berwyn crowd. After losing a title match at Volume 23, Serena would enter match after match trying to get back into the title hunt. However, a certain other company would come calling, and her attempt would be cut short until Vol. 33, when she would return to the SHIMMER ring. Since then, she has continued her fighting ways, hoping to grace the SHIMMER ring as Champion.
8) Amazing Kong- Weighing none of your damn business, if Kong is around, people know. A monster of a woman, Kong would essentially destroy anything in her path for years in SHIMMER, despite never winning a title, surprisingly. While she debuted at Volume 5, it would take, astonishingly, until Volume 28 before Kong would suffer her first pinfall loss, at the hands of MsChif in the title match, in what would be her final match, aside from a special return match at Volume 35 to beat up Kellie Skater. No doubt, she is definitely missed.
7) Daizee Haze- A SHIMMER original, Haze has been best known for two things; rolling them blunts up, and knocking her opponents down. Having amazing matches against top notch stars, Haze has never had her eyes focused on anything else but picking up a victory. At Volume 40, she, along with Tomoka Nakagawa, would make history in the Eagle’s Club, by defeating the Seven Star Sisters to win the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship. However, they would make history the very next show… by becoming the first champion of any kind to lose their titles the very next show, in this case, to Ayumi Kurihara and Ayako Hamada. Certain problems have prevented Daizee from avenging this loss, but we can only wish her the best and hope she comes back tougher than ever.
6) Mercedes Martinez- Another SHIMMER original, Mercedes would help launch SHIMMER in amazing fashion by going to a 20 minute draw against Sara Del Rey at Volume 1. And since then, she’s been another force to be reckoned with in the SHIMMER ranks. However, no matter how good she may be, Mercedes may be known as the greatest SHIMMER wrestler to NEVER hold a title at all. She’s never been able to hold onto either title belt in SHIMMER, no matter how much of a fight she may have given any champion. However, be that as it may, with her fiery temper, and never back down attitude, one has to wonder just how much longer it will be that Mercedes will be sans title belt in SHIMMER.
5) MsChif- A fellow SHIMMER original, MsChif has been involved in some of the wildest things to take place in the Berwyn Eagle’s Club. She’s the longest reigning SHIMMER Champion of all time, she was involved in the first Falls Count Anywhere match and first Last Women Standing match in SHIMMER ever, she has just about done everything that there is to do in SHIMMER. She even holds the distinction of being the first ever person to gain a pinfall victory over Amazing Kong in SHIMMER history. Always harsh to her opponents in the ring, people usually will never even know MsChif has a soft side… unless you happen to let her play with a toy robot.
4) Madison Eagles- Everyone loves ME… at least, in Madison’s mind. The person to take the SHIMMER Title from MsChif, people often forget that Eagles debuted as part of a tag team, the Pink Ladies, aside Jessie McKay. After ending MsChif’s record setting title reign, Madison would begin her reign of awesomeness, defeating the absolute best that SHIMMER had to offer, whether by dirty means or not. She would be champion until Cheerleader Melissa would defeat her at Volume 44, and she has not been seen since.
3) Ayako Hamada- Probably the best known Japanese wrestler to ever grace SHIMMER’s ring, Hamada has had some amazing matches in her time in SHIMMER. Having an absolute war against Sara Del Rey at Volume 28, to defeating Ayumi Kurihara at Volume 38, before turning right around and teaming with her at Volume 41 to beat the NINJAs for the Tag Titles, Hamada definitely knows her way around a ring. Although she and Kurihara did lose the title at Volume 48, one has to wonder how she’ll bounce back from that. And, knowing her like SHIMMER fans do, it shouldn’t be much of a setback for Hamada, and most likely, fans will completely forget she even lost the titles once Volume 49 commences.
2) Cheerleader Melissa- A fellow SHIMMER original, Melissa has just about done everything possible in her time in SHIMMER. She’s held the title, wrestled at the first show, and actually is one of only 2 wrestlers to never miss a single SHIMMER Volume in the company’s history. Having amazing matches, Melissa is never one to back down from a fight no matter what. From her Falls Count Anywhere match against MsChif at Volume 4, to beating Madison Eagles at Volume 44 to win the SHIMMER Title, Melissa has never backed down from any fight. One has to wonder what she’ll have waiting for Saraya at the upcoming tapings.
For one final time, I would like to thank everyone for hanging along with me during this month long journey. I would also like to apologize for any mishaps that occurred along the way. No doubt, if I ever were to try something like this again, I’d start researching even earlier than I did here. However, for those of you that did stick around, I thank you greatly. And, just note, while the articles may be done with, I still have a couple surprises up my sleeve… I’ll just need a little time to make sure everything is done properly this time. While October may be almost over, SHIMtober is going into overtime. But, without anymore further delay, I present to you the #1 SHIMMER Wrestler of all time.
1) Sara Del Rey- Expect anything different? What more can really be said? The first ever SHIMMER Champion, known for having amazing matches against wrestlers like Ayako Hamada and Mercedes Martinez, Sara has pretty much become the face of SHIMMER since it’s beginning, with the Berwyn Eagle’s Club sometimes being known as “The House That Sara Built”. At least, by her own accord. Whether she’s the American Angel, or the Queen of Wrestling, Sara has never been in a bad match in her SHIMMER career. Along with being the second wrestler to have never missed a show from Volume 1, Sara is also the only wrestler in SHIMMER history to have held both titles that SHIMMER offers. She was the first ever SHIMMER Champion, winning a tournament to crown the first champion at Volume 12, and she won the Tag Titles at Volume 48, alongside Courtney Rush, winning the Tag Titles almost 5 years after winning the first title. Wherever she may be now, and wherever she may end up in the future, SHIMMER fans will no doubt never forget and will always respect the Queen of Wrestling, Sara Del Rey.
