Good write-up. A few small errors though, if I have a red pen in my hand. Due to Serena's car accident, Alicia got into the tournament. The International Wildcard was announced in advance. Serena's last DVD before going to WWE was 26. She was gone by 27. Knox didn't lose at Vol. 6. Danger never defeated her. I'm just gonna take these 1 by 1... 1) Due to Serena's car accident, Alicia got into the tournament. The International Wildcard was announced in advance. First time I've ever heard that. I was always under the impression that Sarah Stock was brought in quickly and given the "international wildcard" spot to explain her being in there instead of Serena. 2) Serena's last DVD before going to WWE was 26. She was gone by 27. I said she had been gone since 27, which i meant she didn't appear there, and hadn't appeared since. 3) Knox didn't lose at Vol. 6. Danger never defeated her. Honest mistake. No clue what I was thinking there.

day late and a dollar short... sounds like me right now. We move on tag teams, now. Our first featured team may not seem like much on paper. But, once they get into the ring, they are definitely a bitchin' team. prowrestlingpowerhouse.com/shimmer-tag-team-nominee-1-pretty-bitchin/this will be the ONLY time I'm a day late. Made a mistake, and forgot I had a football game Friday Night. But, everything is back to normal... I hope.

What? They were a team for several years.

April 08 to May 2009 is a long time?
compared to Nakagawa/Haze, NINJAs, and a LOT of other teams, no it isn't. I'm just talking their SHIMMER careers, and giving insight to how they got there.

Nakagawa and Haze teamed for the first time in April 2010 for Volume 30. They teamed for the second in Sept 2010 for Vol 35. March 2011 saw them become a consistent team on Vol 39 and win the belts on Vol 40. They lost the belts on the first defense to Ayako & Ayumi on Vol 41 October 2011 and never teamed again due to Daizee quitting.
Ashley & Nevaeh teamed for the first time April 2008 on Volume 17 & competed on 18 as a team too. July 2008 Vol 19 & 20. October 2008 Vol 21 they won the titles and their first defense was on 22. Vol 24 in May 2009 was the only volume they didn't wrestle on. 26 in May they lost the belts. November 2009 for Volumes 27 & 28 were their last matches as a team.
So technically they were a team a lot longer than Haze/Nakagawa in terms of years and number of Volumes.

They were also a team across the indies during that whole stretch, and SHIMMER in April 2008 wasn't when they began teaming. They were an indy team well before SHIMMER put them on shows together. They also didn't stop teaming in May 2009. They were still teaming in SHIMMER in November 2009, and on indies during those months in between. They were a team for about three full years. I get the impression you didn't actually follow them during the time period you're writing about, and are relying on Wikipedia or something.

Yes, Ashley and Nevaeh were a tag team on assorted wrestling shows from 2007 to 2010.

If you're doing web searches, they were the team of "Lexi Lane and Nevaeh" prior to Ashley even debuting in SHIMMER herself. We brought Nevaeh in specifically because they were already an established tag team, and tag matches were what was given to us on a demo.

I'll have to edit the monday post, too. To be fair; I'm new to SHIMMER (I've only been following since May), but I have to say that SHIMMER is a very important promotion in wrestling today, and that fans should be demanding with regard to accuracy when regarding it publicly. I like what you are doing though, as it gives SHIMMER a much deserved spotlight. With that; though, comes the demand for things to be proper and correct.

I mean, it's not really being tough on you asking you to present correct information, is it?

(Note: I’m not writing this to make excuses, I just want to explain a few things)
In case it isn’t stupidly apparent by now, yes, I’m extremely new to this. I’ve only been writing for a few months, and never something of this extent. I really am a SHIMMER fan, and anyone that questions me would get an earful. Being new to this, this was obviously a very large project to undertake, one that is most likely too large for me. I have done research on everything I’ve written, and no, not wikipedia. The only time I’ve used that is if I need a time of a match, that’s all. Like, when I wrote about the Tag Team Gauntlet match at Vol. 21, I used Wiki for elimination times. If I’ve needed results, I used the SHIMMER website. Now, I will fully admit, I have not done enough research on the teams to make full judgments, and a LITTLE bit of this was guessing, somewhat. I now know that I’m a complete moron and should never try anything like this again. I wanted to do this as something that hadn’t been done for SHIMMER before, and it seemed like a good idea at the start, only to somewhat backfire once I got it involved with the real, full, hardcore SHIMMER fans like you guys. And I don’t say that as a knock on you guys at all. I’m just unprepared. But, from here on out, I will make sure to do everything I can to remain completely logical and non-idiotic in what I write. If I hadn’t set up such a moronic schedule like I did, I probably would’ve had enough sense to look as deep as humanly possible to make sure my foot wasn’t in my mouth, like it was rather apparent in my feature about The Ohio Girls. KRS2, I apologize for being hostile with you, it won’t happen again. I realize that it was my fault in the first for sounding like a complete moron. That being said, I also apologize for sounding like a moron. This project was obviously too big for one person to really undertake, but I wanted to look good on the website I write for, and hope to try and gain a following by talking about Indy Companies. I now realized this has backfired, and has only made me look bad. I ask that you folks bear with me as I try and get this finished. And I promise to try my best to not disappoint anyone else in what I’m writing about. I hope that you all accept my apology, and we get back to loving the company that we all already do, and that’s SHIMMER.

I for one think you're doing the best you can and think its great you're trying to expose the promotion to a larger audience. I think a project like this would've taken a year to prep for even for us die hard fans. Don't give up, just be prepared to edit sometimes. Looking forward to reading what else there is.

hell, i edited the Sunday article twice, and still sound like a moron. I can only do the best I can from here on out. Although, honestly, after tag teams, it probably gets easier, too.
