This whole 'thing' is so bizarro. Portia has infinitely more patience with wrestling fans than I do. I've had No bad experiences with her.

I agree... to a certain point. Yes, people are entitles to their own space, privacy all of that. No person, man or woman, should be judged by meeting them on abad day, or wanting to unwind or talk to friends or whatevs... buuuuuuuuuttttt... You know who you are, and you know what you are walking into, if its happen before, what makes you think it wont happen again? I don't think she is a bad person, she did an interview for our website and from all accounts she was charming and a lot of fun. But... it's the nature of the beast. I understand their frustrations, but let's not ignore the situation. You're a well known talent going into an enviroment where people are gonna want to shoot the **** and talk with you. I dunno if that makes sense, I'm running low on sleep, but yeah, still a great blog. I don't know... this is like a gender flipped re run of the CM Punk situation. The wrestlers don't really owe anyone their time. They don't owe us anything. Being a wrestler or any other kind of celebrity does not mean you owe people your time all the time or that you have to be switched "on" all the time. This is where the feeling that same fans feel like they own wrestlers comes from. I'll admit I find the lack of separation a bit troublesome because I'm a mystique person. I think people seem to think if you perform a service a part of you must belong to them (like how people can be really shitty to CSRs or any front line worker in any field). And I think in this instance it is definitely exacerbated by gender roles/identity. Stay with me: I've been saying for years that male fans who are really, really closer towards the creepier edge seem to think they own the women. I know it can happen with male wrestlers but I see it and other related problems Much More with women wrestlers. Other social problems uch as people who don't or only sorta like womens' wrestling (which they often put in a separate category to "regular" wrestling) being extremely HATEFUL of other fans liking a female wrestler; this happens with Portia A LOT; it's almost as if some people can't handle the presence of popular, skilled female wrestlers who have active identity instead of just being a stationary object to be oogled. Part of this jealousy or rivalry is why assholes are constantly trying to tear down womens' wrestling fans. Anyway. This whole mess is why I'm here. The whole thing really bothers me for many, many reasons. edit 3:Spelled exacerbated

Portia Perez really did put awesome to shame tonight... Wrestling is Awesome, that is, as she defeated Saturyne on that company's debut show in Troy, NY.

^ Portia beat Saturyne!!? Throw that girl a big celebration party. She'll need a distraction while Saturyne get's her stamina back to give Portia her much-needed ass-kicking revenge!

The way I see it is if she is breaking her back to entertain the paying public then leave it at that since the wrestlers are putting themselves out there and at times just want some time to themselves since broken bodies & no sleep coupled with fans that just don't get it can make for a bad mix when provoked.

Portia, Tomoka, and Rate Tank as a trio? I would so be marking out if I were in Japan when that happens. Hell, I'll probably mark out at home when that happens. Too much awesomeness.

Why is Tomoka spitting water on Portia? And why is Rate Tank just standing there smiling? JAPAN IS WEIRD!
