Portia and Nicole's bonding session after Nicole took offence to Portia's choice of CFL team was legendary, even if "SHIMMER fans" did end up in the list of things they agreed they hated.

I think the previous conversation in this thread justifies that, though.

Yeah, it's a fair point.

Ringbelles says that Portia has dislocated ribs, I'm guessing from SHIMMER weekend. Probably explains why she wasn't at the ACW shows this past weekend.

She tweeted that just after SHIMMER: "This is my reward for wrestling with dislocated ribs. This, and inevitible hatemail for not smiling enough. pic.twitter.com/24HHWvea"

That blogspot page doesn't fully load on my computer. Only the background comes up, no text or other content.

Same here. Jen really hit the nail on the head perfectly. And I hope that the parties that she's talking about come across this and read it and actually take her words to heart.

I completely agree with a lot of what was included here. I think there are WAY too many fans that are way to "friendly" toward some of the wrestlers. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to sit around a few much less than appropriate fans. One older guy I sat in front of at the last taping was making lots of inappropriate comments about the appearance of the women. GROSS OLD MAN! As far as Portia goes, I've never talked to her, but if she doesn't want to be around all of the fans, that's okay. I don't go to the SHIMMER shows to make the wrestlers be friends with me. I go to watch them wrestle. Portia Perez is one of the best wrestlers in the organization. She is worth the ticket money to see.

Well written blog. As much as I prefer wrestlers to be nice (as we all do), myself being the kind of person who gets in a bad mood if I can't have a little time for myself every day, or who refuses to go in the theatre or anywhere else if there's a huge line-up, I can totally understand if a wrestler is not in a good mood at the after-parties.

I will admit that I was one of the idiots that got into the line right as the NINJAs walked into the restaurant. I mostly did it because I didn't see the NINJAs at all the night before, and wanted to make sure I got their autograph... like I said, first tapings, and that poster IS going up on my wall.
But, I, once again, have learned my lesson, and never again will I do that... although their theme hitting right away was funny as hell.

I agree... to a certain point. Yes, people are entitles to their own space, privacy all of that. No person, man or woman, should be judged by meeting them on abad day, or wanting to unwind or talk to friends or whatevs... buuuuuuuuuttttt... You know who you are, and you know what you are walking into, if its happen before, what makes you think it wont happen again? I don't think she is a bad person, she did an interview for our website and from all accounts she was charming and a lot of fun. But... it's the nature of the beast. I understand their frustrations, but let's not ignore the situation. You're a well known talent going into an enviroment where people are gonna want to shoot the **** and talk with you. I dunno if that makes sense, I'm running low on sleep, but yeah, still a great blog.

This whole 'thing' is so bizarro. Portia has infinitely more patience with wrestling fans than I do.
