The Blossom Twins beat Shanna and Nikki Storm at tonight's IPW:UK show by using Twin Magic to trick Shanna. Good match, though probably the least over match on the show. Loved the Perfect Storm's entrance, with "The Final Countdown" and their pose in the ring.
Had a long chat with Dann Read after the show, gonna keep what we talked about under wraps, but he did say there may be an announcement coming next week.

I was hoping Shanna & Nikki would win. At least with the Blossom's winning it is an established tag team moving on in the tourney.
I'm curious about the possibility of an announcement. Such a tease. haha

I liked the Blossoms winning, as Nikki has a bigger singles match coming up anyway, and I had a different heel team (the Glamour Gym) pegged as the first champs.

I think the Glamour Gym would be a good team to have the belts first. Has EVE announced all of the teams in the tourney yet?

The only thing I had seen announced for it was that match last night. Don't know if that was a quarter final or a semi final.

Presumably, it wasn't about the date of the next show possibly being changed? Because EVE already did reveal that on their Twitter feed, a week or so ago - Although, I've only just seen it meself, not using Twitter all that often. And the news wasn't shared on their website or their facebook page(s). To be fair, the Twitter post does say no decision had been made at the time, but hopefully we'll know soon, if only to rearrange hotel bookings (if neccessary).

They would be absolutely great as EVE's first champions, they are quite good on their own but something truly special as a team. They also have it in them to be very traditional heel champions, relying on teamwork, smarts and foul play. A formula that still works after all these years. Yeah, the Glamour Gym for the win!

Happy Birthday EVE - the first show was two years ago today.

There will be a show on July 14th, which will feature two returns to EVE... but it's a joint show with another group, and there will be men on the show. That's what I got from some of Dann's tweets today.

www.evewrestling.com/events/2012/07/14/eve-special-editionI still ain't sure about this. The reasoning behind adding male matches to the show seems a little odd, to me at least. I'm just holding out till we find out exactly how 'diluted' the actual Eve show is gonna be. As for the returns, Blue Nikita? Becky James? Maybe Jetta, but she already returned once, and she's only missed one show since her last Eve appearance anyway.

Jetta missed both of the EVE v Ice Ribbon shows on the Sunday, so she's technically missed three. I've got an idea who the two names may be... but it's merely strong theories.

Press release, with the big news that (a) it won't be on iPPV due to complications over the carrier, (b) the next show after this one will be on November 10th, and (c) Winter will be making her EVE debut.
