A tie for Fan Favourite Award: Kay Lee Ray shares it with the Owens Twins. Alpha Female took 3rd.

I wonder about the Owens tying with KLR for fan favorite. Wasn't WrestleFever their first EVE show? Can't argue with the others though, I'm happy EVE, SHIMMER and others are doing fan voted awards. It's interesting to see what other fans think.

They also competed at the Special Edition show.

Special Edition against The Blossom Twins was their first EVE event but even so yes just TWO EVE appearances and they tied KLR for Fan Favourite which is really quite increible. I'll be honest and say part of me was surprised and part of me wasn't as I do get a lot of messages from fans about the duo. Glamours vs Owens is an often requested match that I see in the EVE inbox.
It should also be noted that as a result of Carmel Jacob winning the Most Underrated Award she has won an opportunity to 'break away' from that "underrated" moniker if you will and potentially get the attention that she deserves as will challenge for the Pro-Wrestling:EVE Championship this year.
**edit**
I also feel it should be noted how well Kirsty Love did, finishing 2nd in two awards (Underrated and Future Star). There was literally just 2 votes between Kirsty and Carmel in the Underrated Award. Considering she's been in the business for such a short time I think she's doing a tremendous job and her match with Blue Nikita at WrestleFever showed she can hang with some of the best in the business. Kudos that woman.

April Davids has had a bit of a moan about not placing in any of the awards. I did vote for her in a couple of them, but I don't know why she appears not to be clicking with a lot of the fanbase.

Ahh my bad then, I'd forgotten they were at the SE show. Yes that's a testament to how quick the fans took to them. I was highly impressed with them at WrestleFever as well.
Poor April, I voted for her as well in a few.

Confirmed the other day - Nikki Storm will face the current Pro Wrestling EVE Champion at No Man's Land 2 on February 2nd in Preston. That's currently Emi Sakura, but I remind everyone that Kay Lee Ray is still lurking around in Japan, and there could be a situation where Sakura may not return to England with the belt...

The show was still being advertised with Emi vs Nikki as the main event, even as recently as yesterday on Eve's FB page. And there's no suggestion that anyone else has a title shot prior to that date. Also, I'd assume that if KLR was getting a shot at the Eve title during whatever's left of her time in Japan, we'd have heard about it by now. Which is a shame cos, to be honest, I'd rather see KLR/Storm at the next show.

All the advertising I had seen billed it as the Pro Wrestling EVE Champion (in those words, not "Emi Sakura") vs. Nikki Storm.

OK, so now Storm says herself on Twitter that it will definitely be against Sakura, no more title defences lined up until February 2nd.

All the advertising I had seen billed it as the Pro Wrestling EVE Champion (in those words, not "Emi Sakura") vs. Nikki Storm. I'm not sure where I am with this match. Obviously, I'm Team Storm in terms of where my support lays. But even if she wins, I think it'll still feel a little hollow after the events of the last show. And that's if she wins and Eve don't decide to prolong the feud a little longer. I guess a lot of that depends on Emi's availability for the next main Eve show in May, as I don't think there's a title match scheduled for the 'War Games' mini-show, right?

Emi Sakura defends the Pro Wrestling EVE Title at Preston City Wrestling on February 1st against Carmel Jacob, the night before EVE's No Man's Land 2 in the same building. If Jacob wins the title, she will still compete in the Tag Title quarter final, and Sakura will still face Nikki Storm, only the winner would then face Jacob for the title later in the evening.
