Is anyone staying at the Rodeway Inn, and doing any kind of carpool in October? My biggest concern about being able to go is getting around. I might be able to afford it if there was some kind of thing like that available. And I would be happy to pitch in on gas and all that.

Other Information: My main problem is transportation. I can get to the Eagle's club on friday from school, which is what I AM doing, but I can't get to my house and back on friday night, saturday at all, or sunday morning. I have no problems with staying at a motel, or chiping in for gas in a carpool. If anyone could provide help, it would be very greatly appreciated.

So, I'm offering. I'm not going with anyone to Shimmer in October, and I'm about to buy a motel room at Rodeway. If anyone would like, I'm more than happy to split the motel room with anyone for half. I'm going to get it for Friday-Monday. It'll just have to be a late check-in on Friday due to AAW. I have no problems splitting a room with someone. Even if it's one bed, I'll gladly sleep in a chair, I really don't care. Just throwing it out there.

Right, I'm getting to the point of finally booking my flights and hotel. Just called the Plank Road Inn, they definitely have rooms available for SHIMMER Weekend, but they're around $5 a room more than the Rodeway Inn. However, the Plank Road Inn is closer to the Eagles Club. Should I just go to the Plank Road Inn and not worry about paying around $20 or so more?

It's only £15 more, and if you think you'll be happier with the cheaper cab fares and looks to be more comfortable (which it does), I'd say go for it.
