When you're short GA might as well be 37th row since I would inevitably end up behind a tall person (and if God truly hated me I'd end up behind those twin tower guys). It just seems to me with 65 front's at $70 and 180 GA's at 20 you make $8150 on a sell out. Tweaking it slightly the other way, while still being reasonable with 65 front's at $60 and 180 GA's at $25 you make $8400 on a sellout and eases the pain for the people who are front row or nothing...but what do I know I guess. But if you're GA won't it make it easier to get to the bathroom for all those piss breaks during Sara's matches?

With the way the economy is now, I can't imagine banking on a 2-day sell out. However, selling out the front row seats for both tapings is basically guaranteed, so ya gotta price to make your guaranteed money. That's just my view on things though. Can't wait to get my tickets on Sunday.

SHIMMER runs twice a year. Three times max. If the extra $80-120 a year for front row tickets is enough of a dealbreaker that it means you won't come to a show...well personally I'd eat ramen one day a week for the year to save the extra cash if need be. But that's just me.
Also, having sat in the back row of GA seating every volume since Vol. 15, I have often pulled my chair back some in order to gain better angles and viewing of the ring. There's a lot of room opposite hard camera side between the last row and the merch tables, esp. during the matches when that area is very quiet.

As it stands at the moment I may be unable to go. Those that had considered joining me before have other obligations which take precedence. Current calculations of just traveling myself with GA tickets amount to $520, which I need to go toward my goal of moving in april/may.

You have a point, plus if we get another wild brawl like Del Rey/Ayako, you'll get to see the action the entire time, instead of standing on your chair trying to get some glimpses of what's going on at the opposite side of the arena. If you're talking about living and dying with every near-fall and not being able to fully enjoy the match until it was over because you had so much dread Chif might get beat... yeah, that was me Yeah, I had that a bit for Ayako/Del Rey(It wasn't til after the match that I started loving Del Rey, so it was kinda dread that she'd win LOL) though not quite to the degree that you had for Chif/Kong/Lufi, especially since mine was more a selfish haterade thing, but yeah this time I full expect to be in near tears on the nearfalls. If Mschif gets the desecrator and Melissa kicks out, I'll be the one responsible for the hole in the ceiling LOL

With it being this big an amount it's not a matter of buying ramen, it's a matter of buying Shimmer tickets or buying my medicine for February. So, yeah... it's either go see Shimmer which I live for or buy my meds which keep me alive.

I have my fingers crossed for another appearance by Kacey Diamond. She was just plain awesome back in November.

Charge 9.9% APR on ticket purchases that can't be paid for all at once. I do wish we had a bit more time. I'm lucky payday is Friday, or I'd be stuck waiting and hoping for the best. Though unless you're going for front row they usually have GA tickets available close to show date.

It took several weeks to move all the front row tickets for November. I expect two nights worth of $70 front row tickets to take longer than that.

Some folks at work are going to hate me for taking a week off for Wrestlemania week in Phoenix, and then take several more days a couple of weeks later for another voyage to Chicagoland.
Oh well, they'll have to deal with it. No way I miss three tapings in a row.

With the World Cup only two months after, I may have to skip this taping now that I think about things a little more. Same sacrifice in order to go to the biggest event in the world.

I don't mind paying for tickets, but if your going to drop $280 on tickets when they go on sale and it takes weeks to sell the front row tickets, it might be nice to get to select your seat numbers when you purchase. I don't know how these seat numbers are assigned, but I'm not sure it's random because I've been going for years now and I get similar type corner seats every time. Never get anywhere close to the middle, or much variation of location really. There should be some benefit to buying assigned seats early.
