All of us at SHIMMER would like to extend a big thanks to all of the fans who bought tickets and attended the Vols. 29-32 tapings live this past weekend. These were the two biggest gates in our over four year company history, and the enthusiastic, appreciative crowd made for the ideal setting to welcome our visiting stars from Japan. Without the support of our live ticket buying audience, SHIMMER does not exist.
Also, a huge thank you to the S-Ovation office as well as Ayumi Kurihara, Hiroyo Matsumoto, Misaki Ohata, and Tomoka Nakagawa for helping to make this past weekend one of the most unique and memorable set of tapings we've ever done. They went above and beyond our expectations, and we are proud to have them as a part of the SHIMMER family.
Congratulations to new SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles. Despite suffering a ruptured eardrum early in the weekend, Madison toughed it out and delivered inside the ring during three matches over the course of the tapings.
Photographers Gilda Pasquil and Walter Lippmann were in attendance to capture the weekend on film. Look for their photos to appear online during the coming weeks. Additionally, photographers from Pro Wrestling Illustrated (George Tahinos) and Japan's Weekly Pro Wrestling were there to cover the events.
We hope everyone had a good time at the shows!
Below are some of the cell phone photos from the SHIMMER Twitter at www.twitter.com/shimmerwomen/ throughout the weekend.
