Ticket prices for each day of taping on April 10th and 11th will be $70 for front row reserved seating, and $20 for general admission seating. This covers admission to the taping of two full length DVD releases on each given day. We've elected to keep the general admission price at $20, and bump up the cost of front row a bit to cover expenses (which are higher than ever at the moment), rather than a price increase across the board. This way, everyone can still come and see the show for the same ticket price as usual if you opt to go with general admission seating. All tickets will be available on a per day basis, so if you choose to get front row for one day and G.A. for the other, that's an option (we had previously only offered front row seating if you purchased them for the entire weekend). We will be putting both front row and general admission tickets on sale at www.SHIMMERwrestling.com beginning at noon Central time on Sunday, January 31st.

Just curious, if you decide to buy front row for both days in advance is there any kind of break?

All ticket prices are on a per day basis. As we have no financial backing to help pay for these shows, it's necessary for us to do it this way to cover costs.

Wow. $140. Never thought it would happen but it looks like I just got priced out of Shimmer.

To clarify, is front row $70 per day or $70 for the weekend?
I can swing $35 a day, $70 a day is a bit of a different matter. If it is indeed $70 per day, I'll probably have to stick to GA this time around.

We're keeping G.A. at $20 per day so nobody gets priced out of attending. I'd rather not have to increase the front row prices, but it's either boost front row at the live events or raise the DVD prices in order to cover expenses. We elected to add $10 to the cost of front row. Even with the sellout crowd at the 4th Anniversary tapings, we have to sell 1,000 copies of each DVD we shot that day just to break even. We can't continue to be in that financial position and remain in business.

If you'll notice if you buy GA one day and Front the other, the price is the same as the May tapings.
And, really, GA is like a foot back.

Hrrm, ok, maybe I spoke too soon on my previous post. Technically, I could manage $140, then again $90 for a day of front row and a day of GA isn't bad, really. Well, I have until Sunday to consider it. And really, thinking of it as $35 per taping, it's a pretty sweet deal. Curses, DP, if you hadn't made Shimmer so awesome I wouldn't have nearly as much trouble making this decision.

Another thing to consider is... $70 for front row to a taping (two shows which are over six total hours in length, and roughly 20 matches) is still less than the cost of a front row ticket in major markets to Ring of Honor or Dragon Gate USA events, much less WWE events, all of which consist of considerably fewer matches and shorter shows.

Plus you don't have Abraham Washington.

Dayumn, I already have the trip booked, but as for tickets...........(sends in more job applications) I mean I'm fine with sitting General Admission(if you get there early enough, you can find a seat that's pretty much as good as front row) but if Melissa gets a title shot, I want to be front row to cheer her on, especially since I can imagine getting the same feeling Stevie(I believe it was) got from that Mschif/Kong/Lufisto match.
And I think the pay-per-day deal is one of the smartest things I've heard. Obviously not a lot of people are going to be willing to put down $140 for tickets. So this way you're BASICALLY getting the same business as you'd get from a spring taping and a summer taping, but without having to fly in girls twice. And some fans who wouldn't make two trips to Berwyn so closse to each other, might stay since it's just an extra $20 for general admission.

If you're talking about living and dying with every near-fall and not being able to fully enjoy the match until it was over because you had so much dread Chif might get beat... yeah, that was me

Dave, Couldn't have said it better myself. I paid $50 a head for front row to TNA here in Chicago last year. It was a great show, but at less than two hours, it was a bit steep. I'll be gladly buying 2 front row tickets for both days (12 hours total PLUS the after parties!) because the $280 I'll be handing over goes directly to something that I believe in ;D The only thing I ask for in return is that the doors open on time (unlike in November)

When you're short GA might as well be 37th row since I would inevitably end up behind a tall person (and if God truly hated me I'd end up behind those twin tower guys). It just seems to me with 65 front's at $70 and 180 GA's at 20 you make $8150 on a sell out. Tweaking it slightly the other way, while still being reasonable with 65 front's at $60 and 180 GA's at $25 you make $8400 on a sellout and eases the pain for the people who are front row or nothing...but what do I know I guess.
