Sat Oct 18th activities. Most of us will be arriving on saturday, some on friday, else on sunday. Anyone have any ideas on what to do in the afternoon, or that night? Could get a few fans to take in the city that normally haven't had the chance to before.

If you're in the area early enough and are into this sort of thing, take a trip over to either The Museum of Science and Industry or the Field Museum. I understand they have some pretty cool exhibits at both places running from about now til the end of the year.

I'll probably go to eat dinner & Michael Anthonys and also to get to ask if they can let me record video at the afterparty for Mercedes's website with my camera.
I don't know what else I'll be doing on Saturday/Sunday Morning before going to the eagles club which I'll probably do massively early (10:30-11am).

I'm told Navy Pier is really cool to see at night. Heck, could do that during the day and take in one of their sightseeing boat tours during the day as well. Cubs/White Sox game would be neat, but there's no guarantees considering it'd be playoffs. Still, there's Sears Tower, Pizzeria Uno's, and a load of other things to see.

Yeah, I'm coming in a couple of days early this time so I can actually see some of Chicago. Any suggestions for special things to do, other than the usual touristy spots?

You can go to the Brookfield Zoo. Its only about 3-4 miles from the Eagles Club. Just go to Ogden Ave, go west a couple miles & your there. Also the Art Institute on Michigan Ave is a great place to go. Oak St beach is a wonderful place to people watch.

Baseball playoffs, if necessary Oct. 17: NLCS game 6 (on Fox) Oct. 18: NLCS game 7 (on Fox); ALCS Game 6 (on TBS)
I'm not talking about tickets, but rather something to watch, as part of a bar, or in the case of Wrigley, lining up outside the streets.

Mid-50's for the weather. That's not too bad for October. Don't forget to bring a rake & help the neighbors rake their leaves. (just kidding)
