I'm not even particularly saying Ninja's should have won. I'm just saying it should have been a heel so Lane and Neveah could have feuded and chased for them. I just don't buy heels in the chase after a face team a good option.

I'm gonna agree with nykk on this; calling Lane and Neveah "curtain jerkers" is down right rude and ignorant. I'm sure all the crybabies have never even seen them wrestle outside of shimmer- or even payed very close attention when they were wrestling. Regardless, it's not right to refer to them as if they have no right to be in shimmer. They can be in shimmer but they can't win titles when they need them. Ooooookay. Interesting note that most of the crying is done by people not at the show over second hand reports while people at the show aren't nearly as rotten about it. The same disrespect done to Ariel and Serena; that's ******, man. It really makes me wonder what kind of "fans" we got here. Do we have fans of womens' wrestling or just marks for certain wrestlers? Or do we have the common group of wrestling fan d-bags? Also interesting to note the heat a male wrestler gets for being at shimmer. Great, keep it isolated guys; that's the way to become a permanant (as close as it gets in wrestling, anyway) of the wrestling world and not just an isolated fantasy island. I don't find Neveah and Lane attractive but maybe that's because i'm attracted to Asians/latina's/Brunettes. Diff strokes though. You don't have to be attracted to them to realize they are pretty. Everyone, orientated towards males or not knew the Rockers were the dashing pretty boys; same thing here. Also, they and other pretty oy teams got major heat when they won belts in territories because they were "curtain jerkers", same thing here. Check the sig. I predicted punting, sadly.

I just don't buy heels in the chase after a face team a good option. Bright young faces doing their best to keep their belts against all comers - many (most, it seems like) of who follow the adage of the immortal Bobby "The Brain" Heenan: "Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat" doesn't do anything for you? Especially because they can't stoop to the same tactics the Ninjas or the Crew use? Not a thing? Diffr'nt strokes, I guess.

I just don't buy heels in the chase after a face team a good option. But do you buy this? Heel teams ganging up on the babyfaces ala the Jumping Bomb Angels and just about everyone they ever faced (except the CRUSH Girls). Four teams bombarding them at once and brutalizing them, trying to crush them and it's all up to the plucky babyfaces to keep theirs together, old school style. And that was heat because wheter you buy it or not, it's a LIVE formula that works. LIVE, keyword- even in a DVD series. I'm not even particularly saying Ninja's should have won. I'm just saying it should have been a heel so Lane and Neveah could have feuded and chased for them. I just don't buy heels in the chase after a face team a good option. Exactly. 1 face team alone and outnumbered by heels desperately trying to keep it together? That's hype wrestling drama 101 right there. I've seen it work in ROH, AJW-every promotion on earth worth it's salt. Finally, the board's shaken up. ;D

It's funny people compare them to the Rockers though, because when I found out Lane and Neveah won I was telling my friend, and he didn't know who they were and I told him they were "a female Rock N Roll Express"
Now who will be the female Midnight Express?
While a ladder is not possible ... can a scaffold fit in the Elk's Lodge?

The Experience are already the female Midnight Express; all they need is a Jaime Cornette.
