Jazz would be good. She'd probably love to have reliable work again.
Tag matches on SHIMMER DVDs are a good thing. I haven't seen Fyfe/Hosaka teaming, but I'm certain they'll be brilliant together. Fyfe's really grown on me as a worker over the first three volumes, and Hosaka is all kinds of awesome.

Is the wrestler known (sometimes) as Tiffany really out of wrestling? I thought sometimes she goes by a different name--Nikki or something of that ilk.
Either way, I've noticed that she hasn't been involved as a performer in recent Chickfight shows. But she is listed as an "active" performer for Supergirls...not that it means anything since some online roster pages for various sites aren't exactly up to date.
Just wondering if it's true about the wrestler known as Tiffany retiring or taking a hiatus.
One of us is mixed up.
Either way, the gal is a solid worker. But she should be since she's spent a lot of time in the ring with Sara Del Rey and Cheerleader Melissa.

Since we're mentioning tag teams, how about the Diva Killaz? Kayla Sparks and Miss DeVille. I haven't seen Kayla in action, though I have heard a lot of good stuff from her, she's young and talented. I've seen a few of DeVille and she is solid, a must-have.
Other than them, SHIMMER needs MADISON!!!

After thinking on this topic overnight I have decided that you are missing one of the most amazing female athletes ever, from your roster........ Crystal Carmichael !!!

Tiffany's last wrestling date taken would of been the canceled IWA-MS women's tourny this past Feb. And it was either Lufisto, K-Nox, or Nattie Neidhart that said ECCW wasn't going to continue Supergirls Wrestling. Hope that helps you, mikeinla.

^^^ I'm not surprised, as Supergirls honestly wasn't going anywhere.

Some of the wrestlers I'd like to see are 21st Century Fox, Amy Love, Violet Flame, Sin-D, India Sioux and April Hunter. Also, I'd like Amber O'neal to stay on the roster.

Just flicking back over this topic - there have been a HELL of a lot of girls mentioned and some very interesting debate. Over 50 girls have been suggested, in fact... so I did a little tally to see what the general feeling was.
It seems the two main suggestions by far are Lufisto and Nattie Neidhart; with Talia, April Hunter, Sweet Saraya and Mickie Knuckles all tying for third most popular pick.
Just behind them are Princess Sugey, Mariko Yoshida and Traci Brooks, with Scarlet Rose, Sumie Sakai and Vanessa Harding also enjoying some support.
Apart from those names, everyone else has only had one or two mentions.
This doesn't really mean anything at all, of course... as some of those twelve have proven to be controversial/debatable picks (especially in the cases of Talia, April and even Yoshida), but I thought it was interesting to tie things together at this point and see what the consensus was.

India Sioux could open her own airline. She flys high. Real high. (someone put that on a t-shirt!)

Just another thing, since Jazz got to participate in the last Chick Fight, will her deal with ECW allow her to work elsewhere on the indies? Jazz would be a great pick for SHIMMER. She was one of my favourites in WWE. Great moveset, hard hitting, badass heel attitude. Put her in a match with Sara or Mercedes, and it'll probably end up looking like the stiffest match on the show. Isn't ECW the same as WWE?

Great talent, great shows and great DVD's so far. Can't really argue with success. If I were to change anything, it would be to spotlight several from the current roster each time but bring in a few different women to keep it fresh. I think "rolling" the roster" as opposed to adding more matches (though that's always welcomed!) would work well to keep things from getting stale. The rivalries are great, but will run their course with the current roster only unless some new characters are introduced. Would also like to see the more promotion of the "good girls / faces" vs. "bad girls / heels" to create new rivalries. As far as suggestions for the roster ....
FACES Sara Del Rey - she's a star and one of the hardest working women in wrestling. Leader of the faces!
Cindy Rogers - she is in great shape and has great skills. You can help her develop her personality more with the pairings. Give her a singles match against a true heel (her match with Krissy on Vol. 2 was awesome when you watch it!)
Cheerleader Melissa - another superstar!
Christie Ricci - though none of her matches have impressed me, she has a huge fan base due to her looks and size. Give her a chance in a singles match with a big name heel and see if she can raise her game. If so, you've got a headline face. If not, then she moves to the bottom of the list.
Allison Danger - one of the best faces in indy wrestling!
Lacey - deserves to be a featured face
Portia Perez - don't see enough of this gorgeous face
Ariel - loved her when she played "the girl next door" though she seems to have decided to move away from that persona. But BRING IT BACK!
Scarlet Rose - again, don't get to see enough of her.
Lorelei Lee - I personally have never seen her wrestle, but want to!
Super J - Not sure if she healthy enough, but a future consideration perhaps
HEELS Venus - great potential to be an awesome heel. Needs a shot and seems like a sweetheart in real life. Would love to see her get her "big chance" in SHIMMER and her against Ricci would be interesting. they also know each other and work well together!
Jessica James - GREAT! beautiful, tough and a great fit for SHIMMER!
MsChif - obvious choice
Mercedes Martinez - another who has shown little personality. Build up her heel personality by pairing her against Christie Ricci in a classic blonde face against Latin American heel match
Rain - another great heel
Malia Hosaka - one of the best all time heels!
Amazing Kong - great for a squash match
Lufisto - can play either side, but a great talent, beautiful woman and vicious heel!!
April Hunter - surprised to see no one mention her name yet!
Lexie Fyfe - I debated this one. I've been a fan for awhile, but she really has fallen out of shape and it's tough to watch. But just her reputation alone is worth inclusion.
There are a few absent which doesn't mean I think they should be pushed aside, but rather the ones above were my favorite choices.

Instead of bringing in new talent to stop the roster getting stale, how about making storylines to stop the product getting stale?
Surely SHIMMER's at the point where it can reliably say it's not going to die right now, so can start thinking slightly longer term? They're already running with MsChif/Melissa and Knox/The World, bits with Fyfe/Hosaka and the lower workers.
Making things happen with what they have is infinitely preferable to bringing in new talent at this point.
The emphasis now MUST be on giving people incentives to come back for the next shows above and beyond 'it'll have nice matches on it'. That is, after all, what storylines are for.

Speaking of angles in SHIMMER to give people a reason to come back, add the Martinez-Del Rey matches (plus another possible one, judging by what happened at the Volume 6 taping). Those two have great chemistry in the ring. What started off as healthy competition in Volume 1 could gradually turn into an all-out feud where neither women likes each other.
Then of course there is Amazing Kong as the unstoppable monster. That kind of heel could be very valuable SHIMMER. Put her in the rings with women who look like underdogs and see how resilient they turn out.

I don't think it's so much a point of "constantly bringing in new talent to keep it fresh" as it is more a "trying to build the roster that works". If they can weed out the names people don't want to see, and add in the ones they do, they can have a balanced, reliable roster that's solid and everyone enjoys watching. Although, SHIMMER imo could do without a couple of girls as I think others do as well, if they brought in Lufisto and Nattie, I think the bulk of people would be pleased with the roster.

The problem is that SHIMMER's roster is almost too crowded as is.
The thing is, people mostly talk about 'dream matches' and suggest wrestlers the company would need a minor miracle to keep on the books. That isn't going to help.
I don't think that there is anybody on the roster that is universally disliked. Most of the wrestlers I don't like personally (such as Ariel) are popular with other posters.
It's fine to bring in more talent to fill gaps in the roster, such as those caused by people being signed away and whatnot, but new faces every show isn't the way to go. Of course if the office is of the opinion that some of its talent flatly isn't getting over, then replacing them is a good idea. I've noticed nobody who is that badly afflicted, though.
