I would like to see Melissa Stripes, i believe she is one of the fastest rising female wrestlers in the NY/NJ area, she has had some great matches in Jersey, and i think she deserves a shot in SHIMMER. Today I saw that JAPW has put one of their shows online on youtube. It's season 4 episode 1 and it features a match between Alicia and Melissa Stripes. I thought Melissa was great. She sure is athletic and that 450 of hers is impressive. I think that makes her the second U.S. woman, behind Jillian Hall (yup, WWE's Jillian can pull off a 450), to use the the 450 as a finisher www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPMJGvYnJsYThe match starts at around the 17 minute mark of the show.

I've been really impressed with what I've seen from Ariel, so I hope you keep using her for as many tapings as possible.

BTW, as an Australian, it is my patriotic duty to encourage you to bring Madison to SHIMMER.

Especially by Rhino as well? Damn well at least she's earning her lumps.

Shantelle is no longer in SHIMMER. She signed a WWE developmental contract.

--TO KEEP-- Rebecca Knox- She's easily one of the best ring psychologists in the sport today, man or woman. She plays the part of a heel real well, has a good moveset, and is a technical expert. All this, and she's only 19! K-Nox is the future of Joshi outside of Japan, and is SHIMMER's best bet for a breakout star.
Sara Del Rey- She never puts on a bad match, comes across as a lovable giant compared to the rest of the roster, and has some serious technical skills. Just get her to stop using simple suplexes as finishers and she'd be perfect.
Mercedes Martinez- The best Strong Style worker on the women's circuit, period.
Daizee Haze- I may hate pot, but there may be something to it because Haze is one of the best all around wrestlers in SHIMMER. She blends several different styles into her matches, has an unmistakable charisma, and has an excellent grasp of the basics.
Others who definitely need to stay are Amazing Kong, Rain, Lacey, Cheerleader Melissa, and MsChif.
--TO DROP-- Ann Brookstone- She's slow, uncoordinated, has a poor repetoire, and just doesn't come across as a good character at all. She tries to be a monster heel, but just comes across as unathletic. Her roster slot definitely belongs to someone else.
Amber O'Neal- Sure, she's nice to look at, and plays a decent cowardly heel, but Amber's actual in-ring abilities are clearly lacking, and her chops are embarassing to watch. Without Krissy Vaine she's sorely lacking.
--TO BRING IN-- Manami Toyota- I know the chances of this happening are about as good as those of the Olsen Twins making a good movie, but I can still dream. Toyota is perhaps the single greatest joshi wrestler of all time, and her support would lend so much credence to SHIMMER's product, and possibly even generate enough Japanese interest to build up a market for the promotion over there. Please Dave, do whatever you have to, kill whoever you have to, threaten whoever's family you have to; just give us Manami Toyota for just one night!
Madison- She's been impressive in SuperGirls, and I could see her getting a shot at the midcard in SHIMMER.

I think AnnThraxx (Ann Brookstone) was just a last minute addition because of the people who couldn't make it.
Only way I'd want to see her back is if Nora Greenwald decided to get back in the ring for a match to end the feud they've had across several Midwest indy promotions.

It would be nice to see Frankie added to the roster. She seems to have potential.

As I look at the back of my Shimmer Volume 4 DVD (can't wait for volume 5 to come out) I see how stacked the card was from top to bottom. Everything from hometown favorites to International superstars. But every great promotion could use a new talent here or there to spice things up. With that said...who would you like to see Shimmer bring in for a show or two?
Melissa Stripes - Melissa's in ring ability is very impressive in my opinion. I had the honor to see her work live last month and really enjoyed her match. With a little work on her vocal expression I think she could be Shimmer worthy.
Alexa Thatcher - Young, beautiful and talented. Has the ability to put on a great opening match. I see great things in her future.
Talia and April Hunter - One of the biggest problem in wrestling today is the lack of tag teams. Any two workers can be put into a match but are they really a tag team? Talia and April have work with and against each other so many times that they really click in the ring.

Keep: Rebecca Knox - The future, hell..the present..PERIOD! Worth the price of admission.
Cheerleader Melissa - Always enjoyable to watch, always puts on a hell of a show.
That's top of my list. As for rest, no real complaints as to talent. The roster is quality now, especially with Nattie and LuFisto coming in. I could use less Daizee in Main Events though.
To Bring in: April Hunter, Kyoko Kimura, Michiko Omukai

To Keep: Mercedes, Cheerleader, Sara, Daizee and K-Knox
All have very distinct styles and good in ring charisma. Mercedes is a natural at promos; Cheerleader has an 'It' Factor; Sara exudes respect in the ring; Daizee could get over anywhere; K-Knox is about the best non-Japanese technical wrestler I've seen.
I've only seen clips of Lufisto and Nattie, can't wait to see how they match up with the current Shimmer girls.
Main-Stays:
Allison, Lacey and MsChif: All solid workers, Allison's commentating comes across very well.
Special Mention:
Ariel & Cindy: Really impressive workers, would like to see their characters built up in Shimmer.
Bring In: April Hunter, Simply Luscious, Mickie Knuckles, Sumie Sakai, Ivory and Nora.
From Japan: Mariko, Ayako, Meiko, Chikayo and Manami

I have no names to put on the back burner, but I will say this ... I don't think ANYONE is indispensible on any given DVD or show. There simply isn't enough space to do it without having a roster so full there is no flexibility. Have a core group of 10 or so who would be on most of the DVD's, others who come and go, and leave a couple spots for new talent. Too much of the same thing ... even if it's really good ... is a bad thing. I think Mercedes Martinez is the best talent out there today, but I would NOT want to see her on EVERY Shimmer DVD.
One name I will throw out to add to the roster is Misty Haven from Canada. Only seen her once but she had an outstanding match and has a great ring presence.
Discuss among yourselves ...

One person I'd also like to see in SHIMMER, is Passion, formely from OVW. I know what y'all are going to think, she's a former body builder so she can't wrestle a lick, WRONG, she can. I've seen most of her OVW work and they are done with 110% effort. She bumps and wrestles very well and I think SHIMMER needs one more powerful young female to replace Christie Ricci,
