I got an E-mail today from Johnny C.
"The guys who put up the money became frustrated when they couldn't get the TV deal they were promised by Comedy Central and destroyed the footage."
There you have it. I'm still trying to track down the trailer. It was shot by a company called Digital Requests, which had it on their web site a while back. If I can track it down, I'll post it here!

What kind of idiots would spend that kind of money to put on a show only to erase all evidence of it existing? Christ, what would it have been to spend a few more dollars to sell it in DVD form online or something. They probably would've never broke even but they could've made a LITTLE money back. Hell, it's not like retailers like Best Buy have standards, they do carry WEW afterall.

Hey, why do we suck just because we want to see this? I could be a piece of history that we can cherish and say we saw some of the early work of our favorites......ahem....yeah. I think we should try to track down any type of video regarding this. Those were memories our beloved Lieutenant Danger was trying to repress but somebody just had to go dig that skeleton out of the closet. |

Comedy Central turned them down and signed Lucha VaVoom to a five show deal instead. And these morons didn't even have the sense to release it on DVD and make back some of the money. That's called putting all of your rotten eggs in a basket with a hole in the bottom. |
