I'm amazed there's only three Del Rey v Haze matches on there.

Buying that now.
I just wish the Daizee/Lufisto match would have been included.
And Deeb/Del Rey vs. Matsumoto/Kurihara

I got the DVD set today and I cannot stop watching it. Some amazing stuff on it including this: Rain and Mercedes looked so different back in 2006.

MsChif and Allysin Kay had a good TV match last weekend, but the announcers largely ignored it in favour of plugging their major angles. As far as character building, it went as far as "MsChif used to wrestle here before" and "Kay is also known as AK47". That's it.

It was the opening match and they were using it to hype their main event. Nothing unusual about that.

As far as character building, it went as far as "MsChif used to wrestle here before" and "Kay is also known as AK47". That's it. It seems that they don't acknowledge SHIMMER (technically, MsChif was recognized as Women's Champion by ROH a few years ago) or any indy company except, sometimes, Chikara. So they hadn't much to say. But it's like they say "this match is not important, just look at our great main event." Any match of the show can be the "true main event" for somebody, no matter on what card position it is. So it's a bit disrespectful, not only towards the wrestlers, but also towards their fans.

It was the opening match and they were using it to hype their main event. Nothing unusual about that. On shitty wrestling shows like WWE. Others should spend most of their time focusing on the match in the ring.

Athena confirmed on her Twitter that she will be taking part in the TV tapings in Baltimore on January 5th.
MsChif was also announced, so it's a no-brainer that it'll be MsChif vs. Athena at the tapings.

There's no shame in losing to MsChif, but I hope Athena is given a chance to shine, instead of just being there to make MsChif look good.
