Thank you freaky. I did watch one of her youtube matches, but those are hardly ever worth judging. Got one volume of released SHIMMER footage left, and thus, obviously, there's a number of girls in the scene I'm unfamiliar with.
She certainly has a lot of hardware. But, I can still smell her fear of Perez!

UFC has cancelled it's March card in Montreal, citing an inability to deliver a "championship calibre" main event. The timing makes it obvious this is due in large part to the Hailey vs Melissa announcement. Good call on their part, no way they could follow that.

Hailey Hatred v Cheerleader Melissa is match of the year material. Considering they've only faced each other once before and that was in 2009, this match will be 50x better. They're going to tear Montreal apart!

Because I've basically never watched Hailey before, but your alls enthusiasm has me very curious, would you mind if I asked if this matchup presents an opportunity to out-do or rival Melissa vs. Wesna? Or is that an unfair question?

Hailey Hatred is legit awesome and it kind of annoys me more people don't know who she is.

I just haven't had the opportunity. My interest in active, non WWE wrestling was only rekindled in December. I thought watching every match in SHIMMER history thus released was a fair start.

She's been in Japan for the last year or two and is the first gaijin (non-Japanese) to win the prestigious JWP belt (the longest running still-active joshi belt). That's a major thing and it established Hailey as the real deal. Her v Melissa could blow Wesna v Melissa out of the water. Her stuff from this past year is worth searching out on YouTube.
Seriously, Hailey Hatred is one of the best in the world. As is Melissa. It's going to be a virtual battle of the Titans.

G Reg, it's no joke, all these ladies fear Perez. Get with the program, buddy!

Bad ass picture of Melissa. She's as compelling as anyone. Leos are ass kickers. Kudoh Driver!

It's at the point where it actually pains me to put over anybody but Portia in my commentary, except for her partner in Ninja crime. But there's just no denying Melissa's dominance.
Well, I got nothing but good things to say about Lady Destroyer and Nakagawa and a handful of others, but Portia's just a step above them all.

One thing I've always wondered is why doesn't Melissa get booked in more companies? If you take a look at her recent matches she wrestled there mostly from Shimmer & Femme Fatales. Is it just her prefered schedule? I'd assume someone like Melissa would be wrestling very frequently, then again with her Shimmer Title win she might get more bookings now.

Well, she is doing that TNA India show, and she was booked in Taiwan in 2011. I am surprised she doesn't do more stuff in California or Mexico though. You'd think she would be great in PWG or CMLL.
I think she has enough clout in the business to pretty much dictate where she goes. If she isn't doing a lot of shows, I gotta assume its because thats her choice. I just can't imagine her having to beg to get bookings. She's too good for that.

Yeah, she can pretty much pick and choose where and with what promotions she gets booked now. I'd like to see her go back to Japan at some point, mix it up with some of the women there.
Greg, that is one bad ass picture! Where was it taken?
