Cheerleader Melissa b. Makoto (4:51, what Google Translate describes as "Special bomb Gori reverse hard piece of shrimp", probably a Gory Bomb)

I was thinking it was the Kudo Driver (as that picture shows)
It's pretty similar to a "Reverse Gory Special Bomb"

That deadly Hard Piece of Shrimp finisher has laid waste to many an opponent.

Yesterday I dug my "Future Legend" dvd out of the attic and watched Melissa vs. Bobby Quance specifically to see its first five minutes. In those five minutes those two wrestled like olympians: no running the ropes, no scoops and slams, no punching to the face; just holds, reversals, and pin attempts down on the mat like Malenko/Regal or Haze/Knox.
What's special is this is the only match I've seen (so far) that displays this advanced mat grappling side of Melissa. It's actually quite surprising she has not yet wrestled like this in any of her SHIMMER matches, though I've only watched v. 1-28.
It does take two to tango, though, and Quance was equal to Melissa in height, size, and abilty which allowed them to grapple back and forth on the mat for a lengthy period of time and look completely believable. Perhaps Melissa hasn't found her Quance in SHIMMER yet.
It should be noted that Melissa was out her cheerleader gimmick in this match, instead wearing a tank-top, leather pants, and no make-up; suggesting that maybe that style of wrestling isn't part of her gimmick.
In any case, if any Melissa fan here has never seen this match, either get the dvd or watch it on ClickWrestle. You will be both amazed and impressed with her.

So, on March 10, one week before SHIMMER, there's a match in Montreal with Melissa Vs Hailey Hatred for nCw: FF. That is an awesome match.
I hope Prazak doesn't pull a TNA and stop the match from happening like the situation with AIW in November between Hatred and Gail Kim.

They're both freelancers. That match is happening there. The other match got pulled because TNA didn't want Gail Kim in an indy match with her belt on the line and all of Hailey's too.

Hello, Dave Prazak is the man. He's for the fans, not against them. I reckon he's probably the most decent wrestling promoter of all time. He really seems like a cool dude. When I was a young lad, there used to be this thing called Prodigy (before America Online) and Prazak used to post news and I believe opinions there, at any rate, he was certainly one of the more respected posters on that service which included some other notable names in the world of insiders. When I left following wrestling for awhile and then came back and then found SHIMMER and saw his name I was like "Oh snap." His reputation already preceded him.
Anyway, who is this Hailey Hatred character? She fears Portia Perez.
