The man asks a valid question. 1. We think those accents are awesome, especially on women. 2. Your drinking culture is admittedly superior 3. We've seen Sicko, and regardless of how you feel about your medical system, our's is worse. 4. We don't care about how bad your weather is, because we drive everywhere. 5. Evidently there is quite a bit of quality women's wrestling going on out there. In the U.S., the availability of such things is largely regional. Out here in California, where Cheerleader Melissa lives, she usually ends up wrestling dudes. 6. Guy Ritchie movies are awesome, and we hold the irrational belief that your gangsters are polite and funny. 7. Cate Blanchett, Kiera Knightly, Tilda Swinton...there seem to be hot British women within every age group. 8. Simon Pegg movies are also awesome, and have left us with a favorable impression of sleepy english villages that get infested with zombies and/or gun-toting maniacs. 9. Dr. Who, Red Dwarf, Absolutely Fabulous...lets face it, you get better TV shows, for the most part, even if our production values are better. 10. We've heard how terrible your food is, and the morbid curiosity is killing us. I'd like, acting on the behalf of the UK people, to address some of your points: 1) Scouse, Geordie e.t.c. Still sure? 2) Admittedly, we seem to have a more 'hardcore' drinking scene, and just look at all the cool things that come with that i.e. pubs full of 18 year olds looking for a fight if you stare at their pint, shorter life expectancy, higher levels of unwanted pregnancies and STDs e.t.c. - we sure are living the dream! 3) Yay for the free health care on the NHS! Go into hospital with a broken finger, die of a flesh eating virus! That is of course if you ever manage to make it into hospital in the first place, with the waiting lists, and even then if you do, you'll be lucky to make it onto a ward! It's so worth my NI payments each month! 4) But unfortunately when the weather is bad in the UK, you can't drive everywhere, or indeed, anywhere. Summer time when it's hot, the roads melt; it rains for a day, the roads flood; it snows more than 1 mm, the roads are impassable! And even if the weather is OK, you can guarantee some plank has put themselves into the centre barrier on the M1 and therefore closing the motorway. Not to mention that you, in fact, can't afford to drive everywhere in the UK now - most expensive petrol in the world, road tax that doesn't get spent on the roads, ever increasing insurance to cover the increasing levels of uninsured drivers; oh, the joys and freedom of motoring in the UK! 7) Granted, we do have some lovely English lasses like Kiera Knightly, Kelly Brook e.t.c. but don't forget, you have Lacey and Rain! 8) We can provide the gun-toting maniacs, but forget the sleepy English villages - just visit Nottingham, Manchester or London! Now, sure you still want to come over? ;D

I've heard the criticisms of the UK's socialized healthcare, but until you've lived out here, and actually *had* health insurance (and I'm lucky...none of my friends do) and seen the amazing amount of crap you go through just to get the simplest care covered, STILL wound up paying unreasonable fees, to say nothing of being denied care...well, I'm going to stop before I go off topic, but trust me, it's bad out here, and we have no idea how to fix it. The list was also a joke. Americans want to visit the UK just because. It's a foreign country where everybody speaks our language, and eats very similar (yet different) food. Plus, anglophilia is extremely common here. Plus, who wouldn't want to visit Hogwarts? ... What do you mean it doesn't really exist?! Hermione and I were meant to be!

You still have raves in the UK, don't you? I'd go just for that. Haven't had a proper one around here in ages.

Hey, believe me, it's no better over here. Great personal example; I pay, via National Insurance, approximately 8,500.00 Dollars a year into the UK 'Health Care' pot. However, when I recently required my wisdom teeth removing, I ended up waiting four years. Yes, that's right, four years. I got forgotten about twice, and then when I finally got a date set, had my operation cancelled not once, but twice. They then had the nerve, when the third date issued clashes with me being on holiday, to say that I should cancel my holiday as I could get put further back on the waiting list! And to top it all off, I'd waited that long, I ended up having to lose a tooth in front as well as the wisdom tooth had impacted and destroyed the root. Now, I'm not saying that the US has a working system, but don't think for one minute the UK does either. Right, I'll climb down off my soapbox now! And I know you were joking (about some of the stuff anyway). You have to remember that I do too - just look at my posts. All those of course excluding when I speak about the virtues of Lacey and Rain, and of course the quality of the SHIMMER product!

And the bloke who made the film. Wears a hat, doesn't he? 4) I won't mention the term 'Congestion Charge'. Except for then, when I just did. 5) Not as much as we'd like... though hopefully Chickfight'll be back soon and bring more Shimmer women with 'em. (or better yet, the Shimmer World tour will kick off in the UK) 6) Guy Ritchie is a mockney. He is held in the same esteem as Jamie Oliver. 7) No arguments. Though I have spent the last coupla days watching season 2 of My Name is Earl on DVD and now only have eyes for Nadine Velazquez. 8) Pegg movies are indeed fried gold. If you ain't already, be sure to check out Spaced if ya can. 9) Yes to Who and Dwarf. I'll beg to differ on Absolutely Fabulous. 10) I wouldn't know much about English food, given I live on a diet of Chinese, Indian, Italian and the Colonel's secret recipe.

The UK is no where near as bad as it is being made out to be!
Yes your health care system is attrocious, people over here moan when instead they should be feel lucky we even have one. Mind you if the conservatives get in we might not have one for much longer.... Yes our TV shows ARE generally better than yours imo (and I own a LOT of american TV dvds) but nothing compares to Red Dwarf and so we win there. Also the UK was the reason Buffy The Vampire Slayer got a 2nd (and so on) season. Shame the same can not be said for FireFly....We can also legally drive faster than you...But ultimately British ChickFight version of Cheerleader Melissa > anyone anywhere ever!!
Have to admit tho, I reeeeeeaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyy want to come over to America, you have so many great landmarks.........we have a clock. A frickin' Clock. Doesn't even do anything special. And it's called Big Ben. Who the frick gives a clock a name in the first place let alone Ben?!! And then give it the incredibly imaginative nickname of Big Ben...
Anyway back on topic, jsin that match is amazing! It's more so. It's incredible! 45 minutes of Melissa and Wesna proving that women can do the hardcore and strong style better than men. When was the last time you saw a man enter a match in the state pictured and leave in the state also pictured that didn't involve blading? Because I sure as frick never have! ChickFight introduced me to Cheerleader Melissa and Wesna and you guys are in for a real treat with Wesna. I would love to see Wesna vs Sarah Del Rey and I think that is what you lot in America are going to get and when you do I will be buying the DVD.

Yeah, but we got Jake Gyllenhaal, top that. Also britain has the RQW women's division, and was home to Melissa/Wesna II and III, and Eden Black/Kong But then Japan has Manami Toyota, Akira Hokuto, Chikayo Nagashima, Momoe Nakanishi, LCO, D-Fix, and Jaguar Yokota......yeah Japan > all Actually those matches were ChickFight not RQW. If you watch RQW now it's like going to see WAWW show but every now and then you get Wesna and Jetta. I've never seen a WAWW show though so I can't say anything but the worst match on ChickFight 7 is the bonus tag WAWW match with the norwich dolls versus destiny and Charisma. The Saraya vs Destiny match at RQW was horrible as was Wesna vs Destiny and Eden Black has only wrestled on one RQW show since June last year. RQW used to air ChickFight matches on their TV show which was when they were good. But they never aired the last ChickFight show and no explanation was ever given but I suppose that might be because ChickFight now have a TV show over here. Oh yeah that is one thing we have that you don't that is frickin great - ChickFight TV!

I'm assuming that you were being rhetorical, but if you want some suggestions for good, ass-kicking men's matches that manage to be brutal without blading or a bunch of props, you might enjoy 90's-era All Japan. But, let us return to the topic of Melissa. Can we start a pool for when she'll either take off that burkha or start wrestling?

They have a history, so I'm sure it'll happen. But I don't think that'll be the first place they go with this.

I wonder if they'll figure out some kind of wrestling burka for her to use in the meantime?

Eh, the mask alone wouldn't make much sense, since the whole point of hijab is to cover most of the skin and avoid being form-fitting. It's pretty contrary to what you'd need to be wearing to be a wrestler, which is why this gimmick is so retarded. I mean really, how does it even match with Kong's character? It'd be like having Mr. Fuji manage The Undertaker.
