We've already made plans to fly out again. Looking for a different hotel this time. To many problems at The Rodeway Inn.

We've already made plans to fly out again. Looking for a different hotel this time. To many problems at The Rodeway Inn. Last time around I went with the Super 8 in Bridgeview, IL. I'd recommend it over the Rodeway, even if it is a bit more pricey. (Though throw in a free continental breakfast and free wifi and I think the price difference is worth it.) Cab fare from there to the Eagles club was a bit stiffer than I would've liked, though if we know ahead of time that a lot of us are going to be there, we could split rides. How far a drive is Chicago from NYC? About twelve hours, not factoring in any stops that would be made.

Well, I'll be there, guess I should start scouting hotels, I seem to recall a hotel right up the road from Michael Anthony's, although I can't seem to remember what it was right now for some reason, if there is that would virtually eliminate cab fares besides the ride from Ohaire. Proably going to stay away from the Roadway this time around, the price was right, but it wasn't the greatest place on earth to stay and it's location on the maps is a blatant lie, lol.

The last taping was such an amazing event live, that I'm really considering making the trip from Washington to each of these tapings. Front row would be pretty hot too!

I believe the name of the hotel is ChicagolandMotel. Here's the number 708-447-7910 It was not too bad.I seem to remember them telling me not to turn the air condition on full blast.lol

My husband and I got a jacuzzi room there and it was a really nice one for what we paid. Also the front desk people we spoke to were relatively nice to us. I hope we can go again...

We went to the Oct tapings too, and we hope to be able to continue going to future ones. We had front row seats, and it was awesome!

Was the place run by some Christian folks (evidenced by some of the things posted on check-in desk)? If so it was a good enough place.

Is the Chicago land the one that's like two miles from Michael Anthony's? I seem to recall one even closer, like a Red Lion or something like that. It was about 1/2 mile from the afterparty or so.
