Well, just to clarify a bit, they kept the song playing during the first half, but during the second half, they turned it down once Sara hit the ring, which was greeted by a round of boos from us in the audience. But Bryce Remsburg motioned for the audio guy to turn it back up, which he did, and all was well again.
I hope they keep that in the DVD for Vol 10. I got a kick out of that.

I'm just glad that SHIMMER DVD's exist in the first place, so I can live with edited entrance music. Of course I would prefer the original audio, but I mainly am concerned with the matches themselves. As long as nobody edits out the great wrestling and replaces it with Candice Michelle matches, I'm good. ;D

...and noticed Rebecca's entrances were all the way from the beginning. Awesome.
I wonder if Shimmer can do anything along the lines of the old Hardcore TV days of ECW where they made video packages of a certain wrestler or feud. I remember seeing "I Don't Know Anything" by Mad Season used to show the happenings of the Dreamer-Raven feud and it was like nothing ever done before (at least not nearly as well) in wrestling before. I believe other stand outs were a video package using "Thunder Kiss '65" (this is before it became the theme song of ECW) and one for Shane Douglas/Triple Threat using "Perfect Strangers." I don't know if that would push the envelope as far as copyright issues go, but if the Shimmer video department would throw something like that in the DVDs, or even just online, I think that would be the next nice sweet thing to come along...
Daizee and Lacey and Rain all have entrance songs that pretty much fits their personas. Cheerleader Melissa's is a bit of a curveball - her entrance song sounds (to me, anyway) like a cross between Stevie Wonder and surfer music, and she comes to the ring in a totally non-cheerleader-like way! I first saw her on the ROH 100th show and found she was not what I imagined her to be at all. Her "no BS, all business" approach to the ring and her matches as well is a nice 1-2 punch to follow up with her natural beauty. I'm surprised she hasn't been contacted by the big boys yet. Maybe she has, but I don't know about these things. I'm just a caveman, your technology frightens me.

Yep, WWE has it in the Heat archive online. You can find it if you look up the May 26, 2006 edition. Also Mercedes Martinez had a tryout match on Heat against Victoria, and that was the June 16, 2006 edition. Anyway back on topic, SHIMMER volumes 4 5 and 6 arrived in my mail today, and I'm happy to say that they are the original versions with the original music. So get them while you can!

(shudders)
Here's hoping all the SHIMMER women we know and love remain unsigned by the WWE.
I guess that's kind of a selfish desire, but joining such an organization is a double-edged sword. The unfortunate thing is that they sign these great talents and then don't use them to their full potential; they give them little or no control over the direction of their gimmicks and careers; with a few notable exceptions, they completely devalue women and use them as "eye candy." It's a sad situation.
Suffice it to say that if I were a female wrestler myself, I wouldn't dream of getting involved with that company.

Does anyone know what Jetta & Eden Black came out to at ROH FYF: Finale? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for letting me know this. I have her up for my next round of the ShimmerTron Project, and I would have made it to her old music.

What's the name of the Joan Jett song that Cindy Rogers used? I've gone as far as to ask Prazak himself and he couldn't tell me what the title was.

Stupid question cause I know someone mentioned it earlier, but could someone give me an example of a song Becky Bayless comes out to, or others past if they know them?

Does Rain's music change mean that Cindy Rogers can have Celebrity Skin back [the music she uses everywhere except SHIMMER]?
