I was just thinking about how with Nakagawa retiring that it means that 3G will probally lose the tag belts at Shimmer, putting an end to Kellie Skater's longest winning streak in Shimmer history, but how should Nakagawa go out?
Should she retire with the belt? Should be lose the belt and then turn heel on Skater setting up Skater vs Nakagawa? Or hould she stay face and end her Shimmer run with a 1 vs 1 match against Kellie anyway resulting in a handshake between the two?
I personally like the idea of a dastardly heel, say Veda Scott for instance, doing a beatdown on Nakagawa and writing her character off and setting up a heated feud with Kellie for 2015.
Thoughts?

Her last match should be the title loss. Waves goodbye. That's it.
I'd rather see the titles defended all four shows with the loss the last match than a singles match between Tomoka and Skater.

I think Melissa should take her out and that would set up Skater vs. Melissa and when Skater wins the pop in the Eagles Club will rival or even eclipse Melissa's original title win at Volume 44.

Yeah, losing the tag belts and immediately winning the Shimmer title, not the kind of booking I would like.

They need to lose the titles to someone. That's too big a rub to just throw away. I've liked the idea of Veda/Tomoka as a full circle type match since they squared off when Veda was getting started, but I trust the SHIMMER team.

They could give the rub to the new tag team and they then could do something else which gives Skater some forwards storyline such as an attack on her. I don't want to see Skater go from such a hot angle to sort of floating around the upper midcard aimlessly.

I don't want to see Skater go from such a hot angle to sort of floating around the upper midcard aimlessly. I don't know why but I'd like to see Evie and Kay Lee Ray get the jump on 3G with Lee Ray keeping Skater busy while Evie nails Tomoka with kick after kick to the head, kinda like what Del Rio did to Ziggler after Ziggler had the concussion. I don't know why but I have a feeling that KLR and Evie would work really well as a team and they could use the old "We did it to break out of the pack before we have a chance to get lost in the shuffle" kinda deal and maybe Skater would try to find another partner, possibly getting Leva or Courtney Rush to fill the void left by Tomoka. And this shows why I should never book Shimmer, or any other wrestling show for that matter.

I like the idea of using KLR and Evie as a high-energy tag team, and have said as much here or on the FB page myself. However, turning two rather over singles wrestlers heel to chase a tag title for "reasons" seems like a diminishing returns move.

I agree with tystates in that it should just be simply lose the titles, take a bow, say goodbye and that's it. But I still want it to be Havok and Eagles that do it.
How I'd set it up is during the inevitable Havok/Portia match, both Matthews and Eagles get involved at some point like you'd expect. Matthews "accidentally" takes out Eagles and that finally causes her to snap and destroy Nicole while Havok destroys Portia. When they're done, they shake hands and leave. Next volume, Ninjas vs. Eagles & Havok, virtually same result. Next volume I put them against another established team like Kimber Bombs to give them another high profile win before the big showdown with 3G on Volume 70. And finally, these two monsters who are also two of the best in the company are the ones who manage to knock off the greatest tag team in SHIMMER history. Then they go on a Jungle Jack-like rampage for the next sets of tapings.

I think with Havok going to be gunning for Portia that Matthews will be like "Geez, I'm sick of you Portia dragging me into these blood feuds with Danger, Deeb and now Havok" and side with Eagles over her.
Turning KLR and Evie heel seems like a bad move right now. With McKay, Shazza, Santana & Deeb out of Shimmer and Veda turning we need a few more loveable babyfaces.

She'll leave with the belt and there will be a post on the Shimmer Facebook page the next day stating that she had to go home, her people needed her.

First show 3G retains the titles and then vacates the straps. 2nd show has round 1 of an 8 team tourney, Sunday first show the semis and the last show the finals to determine new champs.

Just thinking. If Tomoka wasn't retiring, would they just have 3G beating the same teams over and over again or would teams get thrown together; I like both Skater and Nakagawa but I still think they should've at least been shown to have a chink in the armour, like maybe the lost a non-title match to, lets say, Kimber Bombs, to prove that they could be beat rather than then steam-rolling through every tag team and their mothers.

That probally was going to be the plan at this set of tapings to be honest. First they had to show how they were better than the Ninjas so they couldn't really lose then. Once they got the belt they had to show how great they were for a little while so it wouldn't have been good to lose at the next few either. The thing with 3G is that they were perhaps behind Lufisto (and since she missed 4 shows last April perhaps even moreso) the #1 babyface act for the last two years so they have to look fairly strong.

True and I think they're a great babyface and are extremely likeable but maybe they could've lost in a non-title match cleanly to show that whatever team beat them is a threat and then when 3G and the other team collided for the titles it makes it like 3G could conceivably lose, that's what I believe anyway and I would love to see a Worst Best Friends title reign, instead of the championship name plates, Eagles has a cup of Starbucks with the championship straps on the side and Nicole has the same thing but with a Tim Hortons.
