Out of curiosity, what happens if someone sends the e-mail/PM to buy tickets before instructions are posted? Is it disregarded?

fyi - I just glanced at the Hotels.com site, even though I'm not coming to Berwyn, IL in April - crazy cheap prices for the Roadway Inn, pretty inexpensive for other places in the area as well.

Any word on the front row list? I'm waiting for two people to get back to me on which option they would prefer to go with... as soon as they respond I'll post the list.

Hotels.com gives you a free night after staying for 10 nights (combined) as an incentive too. I rack up 2 or 3 free nights a year, just traveling for wrestling - its pretty useful.

Here's the front row chart. I did my best to put everyone in the general area they wanted. Difficult to keep 67 people happy!

Can't wait until april! I had just reserved a room at the Rodeway Inn for three nights for total of $ 193.00. I rounded it off. I thought that was a great deal.

I plan on going crazy on buying merchandise from the wrestlers. Making up for not being at any of the shows in 2013 and also trying to break my own record of spending $700 at the shows which I spent at the first Shimmer tapings I went to back in either March or April of 2008.

I just got paid, so this weekend, I'll sort out a flight and hotel package. Are we in agreement that we should look elsewhere from the Rodeway this time, or is there just simply nowhere else close enough that's better?

For people looking to go elsewhere, I suggest either the Super 8 in Bridgeview, IL or the Hampton Inn in Westchester, IL. Bridgeview is a 20 minute drive from the Eagles Club. Westchester is about 15 minutes away. Obviously, neither is as close as the Rodeway is. Between the shows and the after parties, how much time is really spent in a hotel room that weekend anyway? Convenience! There are obviously hotels near the airports, but those are even further away, and more expensive due to being near the airports.

The Rodeway's great for convenience and a lot of fans staying there, but the WiFi plain sucks. And being international and not wanting to be hit with data roaming charges, I kinda rely on WiFi for communication. Guess I'll just suck it up and hope they've improved it in the space of a year.

I still stand by the mystery hotel savings options. Currently on Hotwire, a 3-Star in Oak Brook, my usual selection area and rating, has an offer of $44 a night, and a grand total of $157 after taxes. Plus, if you book through their app right now (want me to show you how? heh), you'll save $25.

I doubt if the Rodeway has upgraded their wifi since your last experience, mib. It's a pretty basic place. I enjoyed staying there, just because there were so many Shimmer fans there - and free breakfast is nice.

I dunno about everyone else, but I have never stayed anywhere that the wifi was worth a damn. Also free waffle is nice, if you can drag it out of bed early enough... which isn't me. But hey guys wanna at least save me some orange juice this next time! Also 7-11 is within drunk walking distance. The yooks I know seem to be enthralled with BK breakfast as well.
