Anyone checking out Invicta tonight? Who's your pick in Coenen vs. Cyborg?

I don't know who these are or what this is, but my money is on the cyborg! Just for the name!

Woo, Invicta is basically the SHIMMER of the MMA world. It's actually pretty awesome, and I've really been enjoying it. I was going with Cyborg as well since I've been familiar with her for a few years now. If you like MMA at all, you should definitely give Invicta a look. They have a lot of their previous fights available to watch for free on their website. It's good stuff.

I love Invicta, all six of their shows have been amazing with some excellent fights and fighters. Another great one last night.

So I ended up ordering the show through RCN's InDemand HD PPV channel. The show stopped working on that channel about 55 minutes in (during the Bec Hyatt fight).
When I called RCN at 11 or so they claimed to have no record of a PPV event going on, saying that they showed adult movies in the slots and no MMA show anywhere.
I ended up buying it on the standard def channel in time for the Cyborg v. Coenen fight. That was just complete domination by Cyborg, and I don't see anyone at 145 who is likely to do anything against her. Especially since anyone who can cut to 135 is doing so in order to be part of UFC now.

That show was awesome! I've been watching Invicta since last October and enjoying every show that I've seen. The early fights at 115 lbs were incredible. I especially loved Tecia Torres vs Rose Namajunes and Mizuki Inoue vs Bec Hyatt. At 18 years old, Mizuki Inoue is a true phenom! That fight was the women's MMA version of the first Arturo Gatti/Mickey Ward fight.

I followed the results but couldn't swing shelling out for the iPPV after stretching things for Shine. But since then I have seen the ME. Going in I was for Coenen but had a feeling all along Cyborg was going to dominate, which she did. But it was a great fight and from what's been reported all the others were as well. I'm definitely a fan of Invicta's product & presentation. Can't wait for Carla Esparza to defend her 115 Championship, as that division seems to be the most exciting one in terms of pure action.

Carla has her work cut out for her, let me tell you. She had been scheduled to face Ayaka Hamasaki at this past Saturday's event, however Carla had a knee injury that knocked her out of the event. Instead, Hamasaki fought Claudia Gadelha, who dominated her from the first second of the fight. So now, Carla Esparza will be defending her belt against Claudia Gadelha - and that's going to be no easy feat. I'm really looking forward to that fight!
