Like most of the crew, I'm still in the midst of the recuperation period from a crazy two weeks worth of live events for SHIMMER. I look forward to an uninterrupted 12 or so hours of sleep, which is now on my immediate agenda, but first, I wanted to quickly post a few words of thanks to everyone involved in making these past two weeks happen.
I already know I'm going to accidentally omit some people deserving of a specific mention, so apologies in advance. First I'll simply first offer a thank you to every fan who spent their money on our product so far this month, whether it be on tickets to the live events in Secaucus and Berwyn, on the iPPV for SHIMMER 53, or on the newly released DVD titles. Every bit of financial support you have given us has helped to keep us going, and is the only way we can continue to produce these events for all of you to experience. An equally large thank you goes out to all of the wrestlers and staff who contributed to making these events come to fruition. To the WrestleCon staff, World Wrestling Network staff, the AAW crew, the SHIMMER creative team and production staff, and the SHIMMER wrestlers themselves, thank you for your efforts to put on these five shows over a span of ten days.
Thanks to Kellie Skater, Tomoka Nakagawa, Portia Perez, and Nicole Matthews for everything up to and including one of the most memorable matches to close a weekend of SHIMMER events in our over seven year history. Each of them proved that they are worthy headliners... Madison Eagles and Serena Deeb for fantastic efforts in their respective returns to in-ring action, picking up right where they left off and not missing a beat... Excellent debuts from Jessicka Havok, Evie, and Kimber Lee, each of whom are outstanding talents which we look forward to keeping in the SHIMMER mix for the future... Saraya Knight for having such a unique presence every time she steps into the ring or begins to speak on the microphone... LuFisto for putting her own well being at risk for the entertainment of the SHIMMER fans, to give you your money's worth... Courtney Rush, Kalamity, and Athena for continuing to step up their game and become more vital pieces of the SHIMMER puzzle with each passing show... International stars like Ayako Hamada and Kana for always giving it their all for the fans here in the United States, to make sure you have an unforgettable live experience... Hard working SHIMMER originals Mercedes Martinez, Cheerleader Melissa, and MsChif for continuing to be such an important part of our product... Of course Allison Danger for giving us all an emotional farewell on Sunday evening in Berwyn, and for all of her contributions to SHIMMER and women's wrestling as a whole during the past thirteen years!
Time for lots and lots of sleep.
