Who knows if I'll ever say another word to her. Wished her a Happy Birthday, and got a dirty look from her... oh well.
Still, she had an awesome weekend in her matches. next tapings should be very interesting.

^ Don't tell me Portia is suffering from the Cheerleader Melissa ego syndrome too! I always thought Portia was cool, so that would be a major shame.

Portia was very cool and sociable at Cigars & Stripes, which was the first time I've had any real interaction with her outside of the shows.

Melissa's been cool every time I've met her. Portia's not the most sociable woman in the world, but she was OK with me. Not super warm or anything, but she wasn't mean.

Wow, my experience meeting Portia was awesome, she was really nice to me and I felt actually went above and beyind what any wrestler I ever met did

Just as, on the whole, wrestling fans aren't always born to be outgoing social rainbow butterflies, same can apply to wrestlers. So, cut them some slack, Mr. or Mrs. 100th random person they met that day in between getting kicked in the face and 6 hour flights and/or 10 hour drives.
Portia is a terrible person though, let me be clear about that.

I've never had an issue with talking to Melissa at the after parties, before or after she won the belt. Matter fact, during the set of tapings last March, she sat in a corner with me and a friend and we talked for a good 30-45 minutes. So, I don't know if this "Ego Syndrome"*shrug*.

From Portia's Twitter: "People are losers. I hate them. I hate all the people." Well that settles it.

Hell, I had a blast with Melissa on Sunday. Bought her first beer after day 2, and we all had a hell of a lot of fun watching the Giants win. It was also pretty funny hearing Melissa try and explain to Skater and Ohka why the World Series was so important. Maybe Portia just had an bad day or something? I heard she had suddenly up and left without saying anything to anyone on Monday at Cigars and Stripes, though... I think I'll stick to talking with Nicole Matthews and Courtney Rush, lol.

Wrestling fans can be very demanding (including myself in this), and I think we expect too much from the women at times. We take it personally if they brush us off, despite the fact that these women have often traveled halfway across a continent to be in Berwyn and some wrestle four matches in two days. It takes a lot out of you.
Portia has been vilified by some because of instances like what's been described. But maybe she doesn't like huge crowds of people. She doesn't seem to stay long at the after parties and I can't blame her. A long weekend, then dealing with a lot of people around her? I hate crowds pressing in on me, maybe she's the same way. I dunno, but I think folks should remember to give her and the others some slack. They do a lot for us.
