I was really excited about the KLR/BN match. I think both are really interesting wrestlers. Hopefully that match will happen at the next event.

No Man's Land 2 is setting up to be fantastic. Polly and Kirsty make for a hilarious tag team, SheX v Ama-Reilly should be good, the 3 way will be interesting and I'm hoping Emi retains against Storm. Wish I could be there!

Emi vs. Storm in a full match should be very good.

You could ask the same question to hundreds, maybe thousands of fans who are equally dismissive of women's wrestling. In basic terms, I'm just the flip side of those fans. Those people would be more likely to say they don't like it because it's awful (not true, but the majority of people who don't watch that I've known tend to cite quality as a reason - likely from only having seen three minute long affairs on Raw). Either way, was just a bit curious about the whole thing.

According to Ringbelles, Emi won't be facing Carmel tonight cos of a change in her flight (presumably, she's got/getting a later one). KLR is stepping in instead. Which almost makes me wish I'd gone down to Preston today instead of waiting till tomorrow. As we've established, there aren't many matches that would convince me to attend an otherwise all-male show. But KLR vs Carmel would be one of 'em.
And that means Emi will definitely be going into tomorrow's match as Champion. Not that there was really any doubt, anyway.

The irony is, Dann said that Emi may actually make the building for the start of the KLR/Jacob match, but she won't be ready to compete. So EVE will have to find another show for Carmel to get her title shot on.

Kay Lee Ray broke her toe in the match against Carmel Jacob last night (which Jacob won). Not sure of her status for today's show - 3pm start, which is 10am for US east coast, 9am Dave Prazak time.

So now both members of the Glamour Gym have EVE Title shots. And Nikki Storm is the champion. Will Storm be a fighting champion, or are those shots going to be sat on?

She should have kept it all along. Pointless title change if it was just going back to her on the next show.

It was done to help Pro Wrestling EVE's profile in Japan. For instance, she was champion during one of JWP's biggest shows of the year.

Like Mib said not pointless at all. EVE got great coverage in Japan and it strengthened the relationship between them and Japan. Dann made the right choice.

To each their own. I'm not a fan if doing title changes for the sake of the mythical strengthening of ties with an entire country, whatever that even means. Sakura appearing for the promotion got them the same press in Japan whether she was champion for one show or not. If she had gotten real title reign out of it, with a string of great title matches, I could see it being worthwhile. Instead, they took the title off Storm for one show, only to put it right back on her the next.
