Nice to see you here! Love your pic and yes awesome work on the graphic. I really hope if it's a case of loser leaves EVE then Rhia wins. Besides needing a win she offers so much to the shows as a wrestler and a character. Plus the fact she's grown and improved so much.

I have been curious about the Tag Titles as well. It was odd that there was just a random match with nothing else following. It would have been nice to have the tourney finals at this upcoming show. Yep. According to the initial announcement (back in April), the tournament would take place across "several promotions around the country" The only other tag match announced at the time was due to take place at Southside Wrestling's "Menace II Society II" show, on the 23rd June, although no actual wrestlers were named. I really hope if it's a case of loser leaves EVE then Rhia wins. Besides needing a win she offers so much to the shows as a wrestler and a character. Plus the fact she's grown and improved so much. I'm hoping it ain't a loser leaves Eve match... although it's hard to see what 'Must Win' means, otherwise. I agree completely about Rhia, but at the same time, Kirsty would be missed too. She's arguably the most charismatic woman on the Eve roster right now and her matches are always amongst the most entertaining of every show she's appeared on to date.

Sorry to disagree but Rhia is in no way the most charismatic wrestler on the EVE roster as long as Nikki Storm is there.

I'm not sure if I'd define Nikki as 'charismatic', anyway. She's Eve's biggest personality, for sure... but I'd describe her as more 'in your face', rather than oozing charisma! ;D

Re: Tag Titles, they haven't been dropped or anything like that as you'll soon see. Some massive changes happened in the lives of Emily and myself (including us now running another business and Emily having some health problems that are still ongoing) and I decided to cut down on the amount of shows we were providing matches for in the interim. When we provide matches for other promotions I organise absolutely everything (and obviously am the person paying and have to actually be there myself to film etc), the promotions themselves have absolutely no involvement, and with everything going on right now "Special Edition" is about as much as I can currently handle. If I was to carry on organising those during that period when the Tournament matches were due to take place then chances are there would have been a lot of problems and issues with regards to time etc.
So just to clarify, EVE Tag Titles neither gone nor forgotten.

Eve have revealed the stipulation for Rhia and Kirsty's 'must win' match. Although as it turns out, it's only 'must win' for one of 'em.
"It's a MUST WIN MATCH for Rhia O'Reilly who heads into this contest with the worst Win/Loss Record in all of Pro-Wrestling:EVE, if Rhia loses then she is off the main EVE show events until she wins 3 matches in a row across our affiliated promotions!"
So, I guess Kirsty's winning this one then! Personally, I'm never keen on stipulations born out of match results. For me, it's hard to look at it through completely kayfabe eyes. It's like Eve are saying, "Yeah, Rhia's got the worst win loss rate (cos we booked her to lose a bunch of times), so now she has to win to stay on the roster."
Hey, if it means she gets 3 victories at 3 non-Eve shows - which would seem the likely outcome - and that subsequently means 3 more bonus matches of Rhia on an Eve DVD or two (eventually!), then glass half full, of course. But I still find it kinda hard to see past the booking and buy into the story in situations like this.

They aren't saying they booked her to lose a bunch of times. They're saying she has to be successful to be on the shows. When you watch wrestling, you're supposed to look at it like any other sport, as legitimate. That means the people who win matches (or games for their team, depending on the sport) stay on the roster or earn championships. It makes complete sense.

Who knows, she could lose this, and then get in three non-EVE wins before the next EVE card, so she doesn't miss a show!

Of course, when you look at it from a completely kayfabe standpoint, it does make sense. And 99% of the time, that's exactly how I watch wrestling. I just find that, for me, that line blurs in these sort of situations. I'm the same whenever Dave talked about certain Shimmer Athlete's win/loss rates on commentary!

Course, that will depend on Eve being able to arrange those matches on other promotions, which as Dann's just recently mentioned, is something that he undertakes pretty much single-handedly. Still, Rhia's certainly one of Eve's busiest and well travelled wrestlers right now, so three matches/victories before November(?) shouldn't be too hard (fingers crossed!)

^ O' really? This is all assuming she's going to lose. I have hopes she won't and the stipulation is just there to throw us off. O Reilly!

Nikki Storm won't be facing Alpha for the title in July. Instead it's Nikki vs Winter/Katie/Kat/Nikita.
Wonder if that means there'll still be a title match on the show. Obviously Alpha's gonna be there, but who else deserves a shot? If Shanna's fit, that could work, on the basis that she wasn't able to compete in the No.1 Contender tournament.

Not sure if Shanna will be ready by then. She's still getting rehab for the knee.

Not sure if Shanna will be ready by then. She's still getting rehab for the knee. Yeah, thought it might be a longshot. Wishful thinking, I guess. Erin missed the tourny too, so I guess she's another option (if she's gonna be there too!). There are certainly other wrestlers on the card that deserve a shot, but if it goes to anyone in the title tournament, that sort of undermines having the tourny in the first place. Otherwise though, I don't know, other than not having a title match at all, and maybe just putting Alpha in a tag bout for this show.
