Not to mention that gas prices will probably be through the roof in the middle of summer... Shimmer tickets, hotel, and merch would be the least costly things in the budget. Plus you never know about how hot it can get, last year made 2010 look like Winter, I don't even want to THINK about this summer  |

If there's going to be three weekends this year, that may be too much for my bank balance, I'd have to miss one. Of those, I'd probably miss July, far too soon to get everything in order. I like the six month break, as it gives me a chance to replenish (there's that word again) my account to do it all over again. Four months may be cutting it a bit fine.

On the other hand, July is in my college semester break, and therefore would (potentially) allow me to attend my first tapings, whereas the two usual weekends are infeasible. Just felt the need to give the other side of the coin.  |

Just had a thought - if there is going to be a July weekend, for me there's only one possible weekend - July 21st-22nd. Femmes Fatales is July 7th, Pro Wrestling EVE is July 14th. And as for July 28th-29th, that's the first weekend of the Olympics, and I'm going to the Olympics, so that's me out.

As much as I am looking forward to the next set of tapings, if its in July, I'll probably have to miss it. Like others have said, just too much of an expensive trip. I love Shimmer, and would love more of it. But I think the 6 break between weendends works well because we all have a few months to digest what happened and then have a few months to begin the anticipation of who will be there and what matches we want to see.

I am pro two more taping sets, because it offers more flexibility. I would love to visit the states in summer (July). I nof course can only afford one trip a year but two more possible dates would rock! And I have to see SHIMMER again this year

I'm biased, since for me SHIMMER means a 40 minute drive from my door to the Eagles Club, and I go to sleep in my bed at the end of the night. So three tapings a year would be fantastic for me.
Seriously though, if they tape in July, out-of-towners should try to plan a few days to get here. Chicago is fantastic in summer.

I kinda hope not for the reasons listed above. The six month gap is nice, builds the anticipation and allows us paupers to build up our pocketbooks so we can spend lavishly. |

Yeah it is a shame, but there was only really one weekend in July I could have gone, and my money would have to have been just right. The last one messed my account up a bit.
