Next tapings in 5 months, to be then followed by another 6-7 month wait. I love SHIMMER but it can be pretty frustrating sometimes. It gets really expensive for some to attend more than two SHIMMER weekends per year, when you factor in flight cost, hotel, tickets, other merchandise, food. To do it three times per year, or once every three months, would force some to skip some of the shows. Luckily I am in Illinois and don't have the extra costs involved. Would you be able to afford going to more than two SHIMMER weekends per year? Not only fan costs to attend, but running the shows to begin with can be tricky, considering how much of the roster is international at this point. What are the odds they can all realistically come to Berwyn on the same weekend that frequently?

What are the odds they can all realistically come to Berwyn on the same weekend that frequently? These are key reasons why we're running October 1st & 2nd. About half of the fans I told "we might run again in July" after the last shows replied, "I can't afford to come back again that soon." Additionally, not all of the necessary talent would have been able to make dates in that time frame. I'd rather tape 8 DVDs in 2011 with a full building of our fans and most of the desired talent roster than tape 12 with empty seats and only a fraction of the talent I'd want on the shows. The venue, talent, and most of our loyal fans who come to every taping are available on October 1st & 2nd, so that's when we're running. A big thank you to NCW-FF for moving their show to the following week to make this happen, or else we would have had to wait even longer.

ahah, well, that happens once in a lifetime. Unfortunantly I live in Italy and I'm not very wealthy and for my parents paying for this trip is going to mean lots of sacrifices and probably this is the only time I'll go to the USA for a long time (we're talking about years here) but as I'm having my chance you will have yours ^^
Sorry for too much "drama" into my post

I've come to notice I spend roughly a $1,000 in all per SHIMMER trip, after tickets, hotel, food, car, merch, & gas...though nearly half is spent on the travel bit itself. Still, it's always been worth it.
Potentially moving in September, depending on finances in next 3 months, but Shimmer will be factored in to not be missed.

Hey, I know SHIMMER has its reasons for running infrequently and I respect that. It doesn't mean I have to like it.

Front row seating to the October 1st & 2nd tapings will go on sale in exactly three weeks. Sunday, May 22nd, at 6pm Central time. Front row ticket price will be the same as it was for this past set of shows, $70 per full day of taping. Be logged in at The SHIMMER Forum at 6pm Central on May 22nd. Instructions to place your front row ticket order will be posted at that time.

My power's been off since Wednesday, and I finally get it back and see this? Sweet! Only reason I haven't requested the time off work yet is because I actually get to be off today.
