IN shimmer it seems like all of the turns are face to heel.
SARA DEL RAY
CINDY ROGERS
DAIZEE HAZE
DAFFNEY
PORTIA PEREZ
MADISON EAGLES
I can't remember a heel to face turn.

Because early on there wasn't a lot of heels but Melissa was heel but turned after the matches with MsChif.

I forgot Melissa was heel in the first couple of volumes.
I wanted to see some turns in the heel tag-teams, So there would have been lexie vs malia, rain vs lacey, or rain vs jetta.
Hopefully we'll get a portia vs nicole match soon.

Knox and Nikita both turned heel.
Kong's show of respect to Chif after the three way dance on 28 and then her answering Skater's open challenge on 35 would be classified as a face turn imo.

Face-Heel turns always seem more easier to do unlike Heel-Face turns. I wonder if Jessie McKay would ever become a heel in shimmer, with all that popularity it would definitely be interesting.

Yeah after seeing Jessie McKay as a heel in PWWA, I think it would be really interesting to see if she would turn heel in Shimmer. She is onw of the most popular babyfaces on the roster though, so who knows XD

Yep, there have definitely been considerably more heel turns in Shimmer so far. Until Kong's recent turn, Melissa was the one and only (sing it, Chesney!) face turn, and it's not a surprise that a lot of people miss that one. I know I did, when this topic was raised before, and during my recent (very veeeery slow Shimmer rewatch), it's not hard to see why people missed it. As much as Melissa was a heel in Shimmer's early days, she wasn't an archetypal heel - Yeah, she was all about the brutality, but you'll find very few examples of her taking short cuts, deceiving the ref, assisted pins, etc. And the same could be said of Kong too.
As Jhon says, face-heel turns are easier. They can be slow-build turns, as with Cindy Rogers. But they can also be completely out of the blue, as with Nikita and a few others. With face turns, the slow build is really the only way to go (often allied with the 'reluctant team-up'), I don't know of any example of someone just randomly becoming 'good' in the middle of a match.

There's been one consistant at every after-party conversation I've had with Dave: "we need more heels." The card has usually been face heavy, so the turns were done partially to balance the sides, and I believe to freshen the cards and characters.
When I played the recent "create your roster game", the final spots in my roster were all heels because the balance was toward the faces.

I Remember Mercedes at first was a babyface, then started weening heel after the 2nd SDR Match, then went out for her shoulder and came back as a babyface which she has stayed as and will stay as with "Live at Jimmy's" Being her music apparently from Now on (I Hope because as I said before "She Can Make you dance if you want her to..."

Besides who would be the face in that match since Portia and Nicole are both ridiculously strong heels. Also, as much as I love them both, if you've seen one Rain vs. Lacey match, you've seen them all, because with the exception of maybe five times, Lacey wins. |

Changed it so you guys don't have to be fustrated anymore. Hope we can talk shimmer now instead of grammar.
There may have been many lacey vs rain matches before, but I haven't seen one. Shimmer really introduced me to these 2 wrestlers & it would have been nice to see them square off in shimmer. As far as tag-team breakups in wrestling,yes it's been done a million times in wrestling. In shimmer I don't recall it being done once with a true tag-team. Believe me I love shimmer and I am not complaining. I was pointing to a few things that to me, personally, I would have liked to see.
