Ayako and Eagles were throwin bombs at each other right off the bat so Im not surprised it was relatively short
I don't know why but I had a feeling 3S weren't getting out of the weekend with the titles

I don't know why they don't do a heel vs heel match in shimmer. There are so many face vs face matches. I'M not saying have one at every taping but once in a while would be nice. They do have heel vs. heel: Knight Wagner vs. Jordan McIntyre.

Misaki is not on the ROH shows during WrestleMania weekend, but Daizee and Tomoka are. If 3S were still champions, the SHIMMER Tag Team Title match that will be happening during those high profile shows wouldn't be possible.
I look forward to hopefully a rematch between 3S and Daizee and Tomoka in the future (and maybe the two sides trading the belts back and forth in a series of matches). The title change match was amazing.

Sorry that match doesn't count. If it's not included in the dvd series it never happened.

SDR vs Jessica James was a great match. Most of the crowd wanted Jessica to pull out the win, but you know what happened. Wish 3S could've stayed champions, but what would've happened if they couldn't come back to defend the titles? What is up with this BLASTED building curfew??? I have never heard of such a thing before. Shimmer has to SLAM the buildings owner if such a thing is true and not a lie. The more I read Shimmer posts and hear Joey Eastman talk of building curfews the less I trust what Shimmer says. I'm for a longer intermission because the wrestlers will WANT to come back if they KNOW they are going to make some SERIOUS MONEY during intermission. But if Shimmer stays in a building that limits its time, if that really is true there will probably be a revolving door of talent. Remember the wrestlers can't pay their rent on Shimmers reputation.

I don't know how you think venue rental works (for any sort of entertainment event), but anywhere you go, there will always a time window involved. It would hardly be something that the Eagles Club is unjustly enforcing. It's not likely SHIMMER can just demand a 60 minute intermission and shows that last for 9 hours. Honestly, anything longer than the current length would be too much. This past weekend's DVD's were all over three hours in length, plus intermission time.

We made sure to go a full thirty minutes each day for intermission. All of the talent had a full half hour both days to make "serious money." They also get paid for wrestling in each of their matches by the promotion.
And yes, all four of the DVDs we filmed this time were over three hours long. We're not going to be running longer shows than that in the future. If anything, they may be currently a bit too long, but that depends on everyone's patience/taste.

I saw Lexie Fife at Sunday's afterparty. Is she coming back to Shimmer? What's the story? I didn't get a chance to talk to Lexie. Does anyone know??

Well DP, it's well deserved. I hope these dvds come out faster than past ones. Is it strange that I look foward to seeing the Knights' debut, yet fear it at the same time?

This is entirely conjecture, but considering that the neighborhood behind the club is residential, the curfew and the re-entrance fee are probably the result of the local residents and/or the Berwyn city council trying to cut down on noise and crowds. There's a school about a block away, so parents of school-age children would want to live there for convenience. These folks are likely sensitive about crowds of loud, possibly rowdy, people tromping down their sidewalks after dark. Thus the building curfew and the re-entrance fee (to keep people inside and off the street). Let's not dump on the promotion or the venue, as they likely have no say in this. (And if we lived there, we might like these rules.)

I was lucky enough to get to talk to Lexie on Sunday and she told me that her role currently is more of a backstage role helping out the younger talent. Glad that she's still involved in Shimmer and I would love to see her return to ring soon.
