Saturday, March 27th

8. "Your Soul's Tormentor" MsCHIF defeated SARAYA KNIGHT (w/ REBECCA KNOX) with the Desecrater.

9. SERENA DEEB defeated PORTIA PEREZ via disqualification when Perez knocked her out with a weapon in front of the referee.

10. NICOLE MATTHEWS defeated "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" JESSIE McKAY two falls to one in a Two Out Of Three Falls Match. Matthews scored the first fall with an O'Connor Roll and a handful of tights. McKay evened the score after three consecutive School Girl Crushes. Matthews scored the third and deciding fall with the Vancouver Maneuver.

11. AYAKO HAMADA & CHEERLEADER MELISSA defeated SHIMMER Champion MADISON EAGLES & "The Queen of Wrestling" SARA DEL REY when Hamada pinned Eagles.

4. "Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend" JESSIE McKAY defeated "The Wrestling Goddess" ATHENA with the Boyfriend Stealer.

5. "The Knight Dynasty" SARAYA KNIGHT & BRITANI KNIGHT (w/ REBECCA KNOX) defeated "Regeneration X" ALLISON DANGER & LEVA BATES when Britani pinned Danger after interference by Knox.

6. "The Queen of Wrestling" SARA DEL REY defeated JESSICA JAMES with the Royal Butterfly.

7. SERENA DEEB defeated PORTIA PEREZ & CHEERLEADER MELISSA & LUFISTO in a Four Corner Survival Match when she pinned Perez after hitting the spear. The referee didn't catch Perez's boot across the bottom rope during the pin.

8. AYUMI KURIHARA defeated NICOLE MATTHEWS with the Uranage.

9. DAIZEE HAZE & TOMOKA NAKAGAWA defeated SHIMMER Tag Team Champions "Seven Star Sisters" HIROYO MATSUMOTO & MISAKI OHATA (in their 3rd defense) when Haze pinned Matsumoto with a Tiger Suplex to become the 4th SHIMMER Tag Team Champions.

10. SHIMMER Champion MADISON EAGLES defeated AYAKO HAMADA with two Hell Bounds (her 6th defense).

When I first saw these dates, I was thinking of last year's WrestleMania, and going "well, guess I'm not going to WrestleMania this year!" But it's the week before, so it's all good.

Obviously the match itself hasn't even been confirmed yet, but as a hypothetical are there any chances the title defence will be available on a future Shimmer video?

If Madison defends the title in Japan, we can start calling it the SHIMMER World Championship, right?

I've never agreed with the notion that having a title defended outside of its home country once or twice makes it a "World Title." Until we start running our own shows in multiple countries, our championship should not be called a "World Title."

Great to see the date confirmed nice and early, certainly helps me with planning flights from merry old England. Nice that it's so close to Mania as well, get to do both in the one trip.

I can't belive SHIMMER is going to film its 40th DVD. That's a huge result considering how small it was when it all started. Really proud to be a SHIMMER Fan from the beginning. Let's see what other surprises we'll see at those tapings
