I know it's way too early to speculate, but this DVD tappings are early in the year, early enought to give enough time to have the next dvd tappings be around mid summer and possibly enought ime after that for mid fall area. Pretty much, that next year we could get a full 12 tappings.

The same could've been said for this year as the first tapings were in early April. It's just a matter of how things play out.

Well, Hair vs Hair/Hair vs Mask/Mask vs Mask should be the blow-off to a major feud (Chigusa Nagayo vs Dump Matsumoto, Manami Toyota vs Toshiyo Yamada). I could see it as, say, the final match of the Portia Perez/Allison Danger feud, but not something like Jessie McKay/Kelly Skater at this point. Didn't the Danger/Portia feud end? and if not, why not?

Never said it didn't end, I was just using it as an example.

Shimmer in Chicago or curling in DC? Too many fun things on the same weekend. Decisions, decisions...

There are Americans who know what curling is?! And they'd rather watch that than wrestling...

Curling took on a strange sort of popularity during the last Olympics. I was particularly fond of women's curling, interestingly enough.

Never said it didn't end, I was just using it as an example. Okay, I was just confused there for a second. It wasn't that I don't like either participant, it was just their feud was good and long, and had the decent enough blowoff on Volume 30 with the Last Woman Standing match, that to continue it would be overkill in my mind.

Curling is quite awesome but I don't see how it holds a candle to SHIMMER live.
BTW, I live with in driving distance of John Shuster's bar. Still debating on whether or not I need to pay it a visit to...pay my respects after his "performance" during this year's Olympics.

Well, it would be watching wrestling versus playing in a curling tournament. It's two of my favorite things, so it's a tough call. Watching Shimmer would win out over watching curling by a country mile. I think Shuster's "performance" actually helped curling a bit. I teach classes and a shocking number of people now think they can make it to the Olympics because of how poorly he did.
