hi my name's kieran, i'm 21, male and sick of bra and panties matches. having been a wrestling fan of 16 years i've grown up with access to wwe and its diluted talent pool of "divas" (excluding lisa moretti and nora greenwald, both of whom i'm a big fan of) and the best womens match i can remember was a survivor series match a few years back including alundra blayze and mainly japanese opponents. only recently have i had access to roh dvds and fighting spirit magazine and have been interested in shimmer but am yet to actually see a shimmer match, excluding a couple on roh cards. so my question is, what matches and/or events do you recommend i get my hands on to properly introduce me to shimmer and help prove to friends and family that women can wrestle just as good and even better than the men

Go with Shimmer Volume 1, it has some great matches. Then you should also pick up Volume 5 for Knox vs Haze 2 out of 3 falls. Plus the rematch of Del Rey vs Martinez from Volume 1. The Lacey vs Nikita fight is also nice on it.

Volume 4's Falls Count Anywhere match between MsChif and Cheerleader Melissa will make you forget all about bra and panty matches
