In a SHIMMER Women's Athletes match, Mercedes Martinez defeated Daizee Haze. Postmatch, Lacey ran in and slapped Daizee!

The match was disappointingly short, but really good while it lasted. The people around me seemed to be really impressed with both girls, especially Mercedes. Both of them hit hard, and after Daizee hit the Heart Punch, Mercedes reversed the Yakuza Kick into a Fisherman's Buster for the win.

After the match, Lacey said she should have been in this match, and slapped Daizee, who chased her off. The show as a whole is worth checking out, and the SHIMMER match is good, but short.

The flower-girl Daizee is back, She used her old reggae music and wore pot leafs on her attire.
Look's like the start of another feud between Daizee and Lacey.

I think ever since Best in the World back in March, when Mercedes first debuted, i think she put 2nd life into a women's division no one gave a damn about until she came in, yeah you had lacey, daizee and allison who are all very talented, but the fans (this was at the time SHIMMER Vol 1 Came out) never really cared, now ever since then, Women's wrestling in ROH hasn't been looked at the same way, Mercedes has pretty much made believers of those who sometimes think women's wrestling is the "lowest common denominator of pro wrestling." I think Mercedes should be brought back regularly to ROH, the only problem is her schedule, she's so busy, she was sayin on the interview i did with her a few days after her ROH Debut that they were tryin to bring her back after the success of the Best in the World show. I hope they bring her back on a regular basis.
