Does anyone but me find it funny that TNA would consider a small indy that runs 2-3 times a year and is happy if they draw 200 "competition," especially when they normally only book one Knockouts match per house show in the first place? I agree. It is to laugh.

That was pretty much exactly what I thought when I read the update. EDIT: And now that I think about it, the knockouts that usually do compete at the house shows aren't the ones that wrestle for SHIMMER.

I had a sneaking feeling this would happen. Bummer.

And moreover Raisha Saeed and Awesome Kong usually don't take part to the HS so they would be free to take part at the show

Actually, from what I've seen just glancing at lineups, it's usually Kong, Wilde and the Beautiful People who seem to log the most house show time.

So if Wilde is in the area ... will we be seeing the Shimmer return of Shantelle Taylor?

Actually, I've seen Daffney and Ashley on the shows as well.

They'll book people like Ashley and Sojo if it's somewhere around where they're located like in the Midwest/Mid-south area, but they don't really fly them all over the country for house shows.

And for what it's worth from me, I think the better decision is to run one day with all the talent available rather than have a lot of key talent missing for four volumes.

It's all about Kong and Melissa. Daffney and Ashley Lane are nice hands for the lower part of the card, but IMO not crucial. I'd say Sarah Stock is also important, but she hasn't been on the last eight volumes. Although with Serena gone, that's a pretty significant loss, so I can see the concern of not having enough top talent.

Sunday November 15th is the first day of deer season. It's unlikely I'd be able to go because so many people request those days off work.

It's a tricky call to make really as people have said (no offence to Daffney and Ashley) it's really Kong and Melissa that would be the big factors missing from the card. But on the other hand if it drops from a two day taping to one day who else would miss out given how large the roster has become and the fact that the two day taping allowed for the swapping of lower card talent to give everyone a turn. Plus the financial aspect where you are getting 2 DVDs to sell instead of 4 for the price of the flights (thinking of the Australians, Wesna, Jetta etc here), not that I pretend to know anything about how the money situation works. So to gain 4 people on that cards would we lose others? and potentially leave a bigger cost to potential profit margin.

If we run on a Sunday in November it will be either 11/1 or 11/8. We should have everything officially set by Monday or Tuesday.

It is excellent news that there is at least something in the pipeline. Unfortunately, I'd rate the chances of me going as less than 0%. Overall though it is something to get excited for and I'm sure the eventual DVDs will be a quality watch. Does anyone but me find it funny that TNA would consider a small indy that runs 2-3 times a year and is happy if they draw 200 "competition," especially when they normally only book one Knockouts match per house show in the first place? Are you kidding? The amount of papering outside the Impact Zone they do, TNA would kill for 200 paying customers.
