Any day is fine by me. Two days would be better though. Thanks TNA for throwing a wrench into the works.

It is excellent news that there is at least something in the pipeline. Unfortunately, I'd rate the chances of me going as less than 0%. Overall though it is something to get excited for and I'm sure the eventual DVDs will be a quality watch. Does anyone but me find it funny that TNA would consider a small indy that runs 2-3 times a year and is happy if they draw 200 "competition," especially when they normally only book one Knockouts match per house show in the first place? Are you kidding? The amount of papering outside the Impact Zone they do, TNA would kill for 200 paying customers. So many things wrong with that.

If we run on a Sunday in November it will be either 11/1 or 11/8. We should have everything officially set by Monday or Tuesday. Run on Halloween ;D Nah that's stretching a little unless you do some sort of halloween gimmick match with SHIMMER talent like Mercedes as a cop etc. But I'd prefer mid november mainly 11/8 weekend or the next weekend, because 10/24 & 10/25 would be 1 week after my 2 day trip to *in best goonie voice* AAHH HA HA HA HA HAHAHAAAOOOOOOOO RRRRACEWAY PARK!!!!!! in NJ. and spending for a total of 3 hotel nights (1 in NJ and 2 in Il) is a little too much. I'm not saying me going is certain because like i said i was content going once, i'm not so gung ho on going again but if i have the opportunity i'd certainly go again if all the stars align right.

Tough situation, Granted I do not know TNA's schedule or their inner workings, but are they runnings shows both Saturday and Sunday?
If they are running just a Saturday house show can the talent be used on Sunday's Shimmer taping and just not Saturday's show? So one day without TNA talent and one day with TNA talent?
Or maybe they shot the whole weekend down all together.

You can't really blame them. There's no reason to assist other wrestling shows running in the area the same weekend they are trying to draw fans to their house shows.

On a personal level - given that I'd be travelling transatlantic to catch a new SHIMMER taping - I'd prefer that the shows went ahead on the given dates, sans TNA talent. That way, we get four tapings.
Besides, it's not like the shows are going to be significantly lacking in star power... you've still got MsChif, Haze, the Homewreckers, Wesna, LuFisto, Del Rey, Danger, NINJAS, Roxx and Ariel to carry the DVD selling "tippy top matches", and you've got a bigger chance for the younger girls breaking through to get noticed.
I suppose the question is how many people will refuse to come if they don't get Kong/Melissa/Stock/Daff/Ashley... or how many people will refuse to buy DVDs of these tapings. If there's going to be a significant enough portion of the audience who feel this way, then that's a different matter.

Well, Volumes 17 & 18 were without Nikki Roxx, LuFisto, Serena Deeb, and Portia Perez and that was one of the best times I ever had at a wrestling show. 19-22 were without Lacey or Sarah Stock. Amazing Kong was not in the title tournament. Even with the absence of some stars, SHIMMER is always good. In the event that Cheerleader Melissa, Amazing Kong, Daffney, and Ashley Lane could not be used I'm sure the same would hold true.

If there's going to be a significant enough portion of the audience who feel this way, then that's a different matter. I know Ashley and Daffney have their fans (me being among them), but I doubt a significant number of people either make the trip to Berwyn or purchase the DVDs primarily for them. Sara Stock is usually a 50/50 proposition anyway, whether she'll be at a taping or not. I suspect I'm not alone in how I've come to viewing the last several tapings as being a bonus if she appeared, but not crippling to a show if she didn't. That leaves Kong and Melissa, both of whom have extremely vocal supporters... But I know there are also less vocal fans who could take or leave their both being part of a show. I suspect there would be a lot of complaining if either or both couldn't appear... but bottom line, I doubt it would effect either ticket or DVD sales in a measurable way.

:(As a big Melissa fan, would love for her to be there, and maybe getting an autograph during the after party...I invoke the rarely used "Mr.Prazak Clause"... That means Mr.Prazak you do what is best. There will be people coming to the shows, 4 is better than 2, but no Cheerleader Melissa. A little conflicted.
