While I hate to pick faults, the only falling down point that I could see was that Stephanie McMahon was surplus to requirements in that segment. Paige could have introduced Becky Lynch and Charlotte saying she had found women to support her in her battle against the Bellas, and Naomi could have come out as she did, introducing Sasha Banks along the way. Apart from that, I thought the whole angle was a home run.
It doesn't bode well for the likes of Rosa, Cameron and Layla though, and I hope Emma becomes part of the main roster soon following her repackaging as a heel in NXT.
Speaking on NXT, this gives more opportunity for Alexa Bliss, KC Cassidy and Jessie McKay, as well as the other women WWE is training up. Hopefully everybody wins.

It was a bit like Momma Steph (with her hiiiiiiiiigh heels) telling off the bickering little children and making them play nice. Or fight not nice, as the case may be. On the whole it was great though.
Flip side to Stephanie's involvement: With it being linked to her so definitively there is a chance it gives it more of an opportunity to succeed, as she wouldn't want to be associated with failure. So while I have zero faith I do have hope.

So while I have zero faith I do have hope. That really is a big upside. At least with Steph and HHH behind it, there will be a real attempt to make this work. Hopefully Kevin Dunn doesn't get in Vince's ear.

WWE has enough airtime especially on Mondays to have more than 1 women's match. It's nice that they are embracing their talent, now they have to take advantage of time. Same actually goes for TNA also. I also generally like knockout matches better but they have been a bit lackluster as of late.

Yeah so the first "new" Divas division match on PPV certainly did not suck. Could have used a little more time but it's a start. Charlotte is over as an immediate contender, crowd is already reacting to the figure 8, Sasha came off as the best wrestler and will be a challenger to Charlotte.

It was fine, but not as good at the NXT stuff, and the goal should be the exceed that. Brie Bella has regressed too, and she's just a Daniel Bryan facsimile these days - plus, the "Brie Mode" yell needs to go away immediately.
What irks me is that this revolution's first match happened on a PPV where the match was not advertised ahead of time, so that match generated zero dollars for WWE. What we need is storylines and each woman wanting to win matches to win the Divas Championship.
In fact, now would be a good time to rename that belt back to the Women's Title, as has been done in NXT.

I can't, on principle, watch WWE programming. I'm very happy for Paige, Becky and the other legit wrestlers who have made it from the indies to the main roster. I like NXT -- particularly the house shows. They have had a pro wrestling feel (God forbid) for a long time now. And I guess Triple H has embraced it and associated his name with it lately. It's the in thing. I honestly don't see anyone in the longterm getting significant wrestling time on TV and PPVs. But the money they'll be making and the popularity and brand recognition they'll enjoy through the WWE machine will be huge. When I met Paige at FCW in Tampa a few years ago, the "WWE Universe" wouldn't have known who she was for the most part. Now she's got fans lined up at Comic Cons and some who fly to every city where she appears at one getting 10 photo ops at each one. No doubt carrying the Bellas for 10 minutes is well worth it.

I have to say that - at least last night - WWE addressed a lot of the righteous criticism that they have earned over their treatment of the women's division. They had 2 matches during the time that I watched (I couldn't watch an entire 3 hour RAW if I was paid to do so) and they both were given more time than has been the usual with women's matches. The commentators were actually talking about the matches in the ring instead of selling something else completely unrelated. And it was a pleasure to see some real hard-hitting action - and finesse, especially from Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, both of whom I find to be a joy to watch work. Brie Bella's work last night might be the best that I've seen from her. It was certainly better than her work on Sunday. Good for her. And Paige seemed to be having a very good time last night, and was definitely fun to watch.

Fun to see a number of the best women on WWE's roster live last night in San Jose. Becky Lynch is just phenomenal to watch - everything she does is so smooth. The Bellas held their own in their match against Becky & Charlotte. I would have liked to have seen Alicia Fox do more in that outside-the-ring role. As Secretary Su Yung proved, there's so much fun stuff that can be done in that role even without interfering at all in the match. Paige was fun to watch in her match with Naomi.

Does anyone else not mind the names of Billie Kay for Jessie and Peyton Royce for KC? Peyton Royce is a name that seems tailor-made to team with the Vaudevillains and hopefully Jessie gets more of a definitive heel character (I guess I was right; Jessie did turn heel, just not in the promotion I was expecting)

I like Billie Kay for Jessie but I'd prefer it if Peyton dropped the last name. As for the Vaudevillians, I'm thinking that Leva(as Blue Pants) will be teaming with them in Brooklyn to combat Alexa.
And I think that they're gonna slowly ease Billie & Peyton in, to take the places of the Becky, Charlotte & Sasha when they fully move to the main roster

I personally think Becky should've stayed on the main roster for longer because she's over as hell with the N-Bex-T chants and they should've had her win the NXT Women's Championship before she get shot to the main roster. I'm just worried she'll get lost in the shuffle. I also wonder if they'll give Billie a gimmick similar to her Shimmer gimmick only tweak it to make her a heel and with a moniker like 'Everyone's Favourite Girlfriend' making Billie a heel shouldn't be hard to do.

Becky was way over with the crowd at the recent RAW that I went to in San Jose - as well she should be, given the quality of her work.
