this was posted today, and she's over a quarter of the way there, already. I don't think she'll have any problems with funding.

Really this question could be rephrased to be "Where were all these folks when..." and then insert any damn cause you like. One picks and chooses where the limited ability to be philanthropic will go. And no matter what you pick, you're ignoring thousands of other causes just as or more worthy in the grand scheme of things.
So in short, let the bears pay the bear tax.

People were there to give money to Zema Ion's cause. More than three times as much money as LuFisto. What sucks for him is that he chose the wrong funding web site. The one he used only gives the person the money if their goal is met within a specific time period. If the goal isn't met, they get none of it. With other sites like GoFundIt and IndieGoGo, they get all of what's pledged regardless of whether the goal is met. Had Ion used one of those, he would have been given about $7,000 to put toward his medical bills. Since his goal was $30,000, he got nothing.

Stupid/naive question perhaps but in that situation with that site where the target isn't met do the donors get their money back?

I don't know what site he used, but Kickstarter doesn't make a backer pay anything unless a project is successful, and money is only taken the minute the project ends. There's no money to be returned if it fails. (I have no idea how other sites work.)

Most sites are the same. You don't get charged until the goal it met. Only IndieGoGo, afaik, offers the option of taking whatever is given at the end, whether the goal is met or not.

Yeah, from my experience, with Kickstarter you keep your money and the person doesn't get any if they fail to meet the target, and Indiegogo is just a suggested amount, so what you donate is taken out of your account regardless, and the person/group gets it.
The Breathe It documentary makers didn't make anywhere near what they were suggesting for their drive, but they used Indiegogo, so they made use of what was donated.

LuFisto vs. April Davids has been announced for Preston City Wrestling's show on October 11th, so she's staying in the UK for a little bit after the Bellatrix show. That show also has Ultimo Dragon, Pope Dinero, Davey Richards and Michael Elgin on it.

DJ Hyde is an asshole. RIP Pegaboo.
Wasn't sure where to post this so sorry if I goofed.

He's a nice guy at the Dojo Wars shows I've been too, but his Fat HHH gimmick is really ****ing annoying. I guess that means he's doing his job well that I can like him and still want to punch him in the face.

If Lou Thesz was right, saying that the most hated heels are the nicest persons in real life, there's no doubt that DJ Hyde is a great guy. He seems to do a good job with CZW too.
But I think, the way it has been done, the destruction of Pegaboo was a wasted opportunity. Of course we don't know what the plan is. Maybe LuFisto will not battle a woman from his stable, but DJ Hyde himself next.
"Killing" Pegaboo was a chance to create a heel for a long feud with LuFisto. And since she's living in Montreal now, I think this heel should have been Sassie Stephie. She has all the tools, but lacks "overness", so this would have been a great opportunity to make her a believable contender.
Nonetheless I hope for LuFisto vs Stephie, in WSU, NCW Femmes Fatales or Shimmer. This should become a great match.
