Saw Jetta live for the first time in about a year at an NWA:SWA show on Saturday. They were given quite a while, I'd estimate about 15-20 minutes though I'm crap with estimations, which isn't bad for an otherwise all male show. She lost naturally to put the hometown babyface over, considering she already went over her in her own hometown. My friend was very impressed with the strangehold lungblower, making the appropriate "ooft" when it hit.

She won an intergender tag match against Nikki Storm, and their most recent match went to a double countout and a hugely heated post-match pull-apart with language that would make Bill Hicks blush. Storm and Jetta meet on October 4 in a no-hold-barred falls-count-anywhere match to settle things.

Oh I didn't realise it was an intergender match where she went over. Sadly there was no blue language here because it was a family show so it mostly consisted of Jetta's witty comments with the riposte of "Scotland!"

I was at the show on saturday aswell, it was the first time I've seen Nikki Storm I thought she was really good. Jetta was on great form calling everyone racist for booing her, she hi-fived me for wearing my IHWC shirt, Rain would not have been pleased with that. lol

Good magazine FSM. Behind Powerslam it's the one I buy the most.... and by 'buy' I mean 'read in Smiths without paying for it'... Good. Now I can feel less guilty about it next time. The best thing about FSM is Lance Storm's columns, but even then they be on his website eventually. They ride Brutus Magnus way too much (cause he used to be an ex-writer), even when he debuted in TNA with his ludicrous gladiatorial attire and was greener than the grass in your garden. PowerSlam gets the nod for me. Stately Wayne Manor FTW.

The trouble with PS, and magazines in general is that by the time you pick them up you know all the 'breaking news' and the PPV reviews are out of date. I used to buy PS every month for a while, but then ended up buying it twice a year to see the reader's votes and to see their top 50 wrestlers of the year (PWI eat your heart out!) maybe they should do a women's top 50 list too?

Oh cool, I saw Jetta high fiving someone and wondered what would prompt it. I loved how about half of the heels in the evening were just heels by virtue of being Scottish. Makes me wonder if they shouldn't do some interpromotional shows with Hammerlock or some such.

I've been getting off into astrology lately and Jett'a's Chinese Zodiac is soooooo not what you'd think she'd be. Pretty interesting- she and Portia are the same animal on the zodiac.
Her western sign on the other hand, is right on.

Jetta lost the RQW Women's Championship to HEW Women's Champion Britani Knight (daughter of Sweet Saraya) in a Title vs Title match on 19th December. Annoyingly I flew down to London a day too late to see it.

As stew told me afterwards, that makes Britani Knight pretty-much the undisputed women's champion in the UK, as she holds four women's championships now. Eat that MsChif with your three.

Correctamundo. Britani is now the WAW British Ladies Champion, the RQW Womens Champion, the HEW Womens Champion and the RDW Womens Champion. Oh, how I wish I had any sort of artistic skills - I'd make a "Britani Knight: Domination" T-shirt FWIW, the match with Britani on Saturday started heel/heel, but as it became clear that Britani was cheating like crazy (and her seconds, Sam Knee and Brett Meadows, were interfering constantly), Jetta morphed into a babyface mid-match - hitting a fiery comeback, but losing to a rope-assisted roll-up. I look forward to the hopeful continuation of babyface Jetta vs heel Britani throughout 2010. They are the two best in the country, so good things can (and should) happen.

Hopefully we can get some pictures of Knight holding all four titles at once somehow, maybe dangling off her arms or all just wrapped round her body. I love gold...

I won't see her until the new year now - but if I remember, I'll try and make that happen - even if it's just me taking a pic with my phone or something.
