I'm about a third of the way through the interview and it is very good indeed.

I'll have to break my rule of only updating my iPod when the battery is knackered.

Anyone know when and where she is retiring at She's had her final matches in the UK (this past weekend). Her final bookings are in Belgium next month - I believe 26/27 June. The first night is a tag match with Jetta/Jekkel vs Britani Knight/Zebra Kid, and the second night is the final show and a singles match with Britani. Then that's it until the mighty comeback tour...

Were they really her final matches in the UK though? If I'm not mistaken, on your podcast she said she'll accept bookings in the future if it's something she really wants to do. If there's one thing I've learned about wrestling retirements.....
Especially when the wrestler is already saying in interviews that they will come back if the offer is attractive enough.

POSER ALERT:
Jetta has discovered that there is someone posing on her on facebook and would like for people to spread the word about it. The person goes by the name Jetta Banks (yes, I'm being serious).

Weird people. Cheryl Cole tried to add me on MSN a few weeks ago. "You're clearly not Cheryl Cole, though, are you?" "Bet you'd like me to be?" "No...not really. It would be a disappointment."

I totally agree with you about wrestling retirements, and I think Jetta is well aware of that - which is why she's not making as big a deal of this as she could've done (wouldn't it have been great if she'd kept quiet, then lost a career match at the blow-off to a feud?). As it was, she had told enough people (who had told enough people) that it became a bad secret - so she acknowledged that she was finishing up. I don't think she thinks she'll work a regular schedule again (i.e. weekends booked up six months in advance), but if someone with a pile of cash wants to say "Hey, Jetta - will you work this show for a vast sum of money?", I'm sure she'll give it serious thought. I can't see anybody with that amount of cash in the UK at any rate.

Or maybe if she was tempted with championship glory.
DP...I'm just saying.

My first impression was "stupid and annoying." Then I realized that's what she was going for, and she grew on me. It's amazing how much time the Homewrecking crew can waste before any actual wrestling starts and build up some heat. It's quite amusing. Great job
