^^Wow, that is horrible. From what she wrote, she could have to retire if the damage is permanent. Hopefully, that won't be the case.

My thoughts & prayers are with Becky. Thanks for the info about her.I went to her website and I hope it goes away and is not permanent and not lead to something more serious like Meniere`s disease.

I feel terrible for Rebecca Knox and hopefully she can make a full recovery from her injuries. The main event was supposed to be an iron woman match between Rebecca Knox & Daizee Haze. IMO, don't lose the iron woman match. You need to replace Rebecca Knox in the match. If you go back a year or two, there is a suitable replacement in this case, and her name is LACEY!!!!! Lacey & Daizee have had some really good matches in the past couple of years, so in my mind this should be the solution. I'm sure there will be others whom will agree or disagree with my comments. Chime in, please!

With all due respect, you can't just throw in a substitute opponent for the Haze in a match like this. I'd prefer they postpone the ironwoman match until Knox comes back. But if there must be one on 10/22, then let it be against Del Ray and Martinez since their issue is still unsettled and I'm certain it will be just as good.

As good as Lacey is... I wouldn't just throw her into the Iron Woman match either. I'm not sure if she would be able to work an effective hour long match. And again, I agree with Brassy, if the Iron Woman match is on the card, make it Del Ray/Martinez, or put one of them against Haze (although that would make no sense booking wise). I would prefer they hold off on the match until Knox is able to make a full recovery. I wish her all the best and a speedy recovery. It would be terrible if she had to retire, she is quite possibly the best female wrestler on the planet right now.

postpone the iron woman match...there is only one pairing for that and , shockingly, that won't be happening for a while. Rebecca Knox is a fantastic wrestler and it is so sad what as happened. Hope she gets hundreds of messages of support to show that people are thinking of her.

Daizee's Iron Woman challenge was made to Rebecca in particular. The challenge still stands for when Knox is healthy enough to wrestle once again.

This is sad news. I really hope that this is not the end of her career. For someone so young Rebecca had loads of talent. It would be a shame if that talent can't go any further. I truely hope that Rebecca will be okay.

I really hope Rebecca is able to recover fully from this injury. At not even the age of 20, she has so much talent and it would be a crime for her to have to retire at such a young age. I wouldnt want to see another Debbie Malenko case. I wish her all the best in her recovery and and hopefully she is able to get in the ring again next year for the next sets of tapings after 7 and 8.

On the heels of a very memorable match against Amazing Kong on SHIMMER Volume 5, Boston native Nikki Roxx has signed an open contract for the 10/22 SHIMMER taping in Berwyn, IL. Nikki has made it clear to both SHIMMER management and the rest of the roster that she wants more opportunities to prove herself against the top talent, and work her way into main event matches. Roxx, who has largely been relegated to undercard or mid-card bouts thus far in her SHIMMER tenure, will take on any of the SHIMMER women on 10/22 that are willing to sign the open contract, in an effort to show that she can hang with those at the top of the card. Who will sign on the dotted line to face Nikki next Sunday? Reserve your tickets now by E-mailing shimmernews@yahoo.com with your name and how many tickets you'll need for your party. They will be held at the door to be purchased on the day of the show.

Thoughts on Nikki Roxx-After watching the WWW Champion vs. Champion DVD,I think she can take on any Shimmer girl and credit Ariel from PWF Mayhem which helped made Nikki look good(on that DVD) especially with young people like you see mostly at the WWE shows.I think she is a good candidate for WWE because she is very popular with young people and has the looks. But according to a ProWrestling.com article(October 12,2006),the billionaire over there is looking for beauty and the Double K look so it looks like Francine is out of ECW.And Trinity is back from her injury.I guess Trinity got the operation and her website is starting to look like that of April Hunter. As far as beauty goes,I would rather take Nikki over Trinity any day, same with wrestling skills. As far as Shimmer goes,I am sure WWE scouts will be at the show looking at her again like they did before on the EastCoast.Because her contract is open to any Shimmer girl right now,who ever signs with Nikki, the WWE scouts would have to take a look at also, same like all the young people who support Nikki on the EastCoast.Who would I like her to sign against-Melissa.Because both of them can take it and dish it out big time besides wrestle. For me,I look at Melissa as the number one girl in the USA(and one tough lady wrestler) against girls like Yoshida,MsChif,Haze,Martinez, etc.she can really put on a show win or lose.Facing her would be a real test for Nikki Roxx and take it past mid card.

I've been saying for a while that I think Nikki is awesome and probably the most underrated girl on the roster. She had a really good match with Rain on Volume 3, and I think her match with Amazing Kong definitely opened some eyes. Glad to see her moving up.
I'd love to see Nikki take on Lacey. That's a matchup I think would work well together. Nikki/Melissa would be another one, or even Nikki/Daizee if it was a face/face match. But Nikki is good at getting the crowd behind her (see: "NIKKI!" "Roxx!" "AMBER!" "Sucks!") so I think she'd play well off of Lacey.

so it looks like Gail Kim(Francine) is out of ECW. What does Gail Kim have to do with Francine and ECW? Gail Kim is in TNA.

Thanks for the correction.I guess I got her mixed up with Gail Kim and La Felina for some reason because she was let go also. She got breast implants before entering WWE ,and enlarged them after signing.According to the article it is interesting to note she(Francine) had to purchase a piece of fitness equipment to improve the appearance of her butt & thighs off of eBay in July.I just read a good PR column from Obsessed With Wrestling dated September 21,2006 called She`s Only Just Begun concerning Michelle McCool. It would seem the WWE has high hopes($)on her with her present gimmick they gave her.But I have to agree with the comments concerning this column. The only thing of interest for me was the fans & her participation on her website when she got sidelined.Because this might help the chances of girls getting into the WWE sooner even though they are active rather than sidelined and it makes for good PR.Like I said before,I think Nikki Roxx has a good chance of getting into the WWE and I hope she does more participation with fans she does come in contact with.

I'm glad to see Nikki Roxx is getting the chance to become a bigger player in SHIMMER. At the same time, I sincerely hope the same courtesy will be extended to Cindy Rogers, because I truly believe she has the talent to go toe-to-toe with the top grapplers in SHIMMER. With K-nox sidelined, have Cindy wrestle the Haze. Cindy playing the role of the scrappy underdog is sure to win over the crowd.
I realize that the Haze's new opponent has, probably, already been selected. However, I do feel that Cindy is underrated in SHIMMER and the time has come to let her, at least, try to break through.
