There is better ways to retool a character imo. Then just throwing them in a stupid storyline that ends retarded.

Yes, so you've already said at least 25 times already. We all know your stance. There's no reason to keep repeating yourself.

I heard once Vince Russo likes to sniff seats when everyone has left a creative meeting

Because you're not saying anything new. You just keep preaching the same sermon over and over again. We all know how you feel. We knew that seven pages ago. Put the bat down and leave the horse be.

A report on PWInsider says that she was open the the idea because the hair dye was screwing up her hair. That was mentioned as a reason Molly Holly did it too, right? Of course, now the thread will shift to wondering why Nikki is in a gimmick where she had to dye her hair in the first place.

How about that. Makes me wonder why Dave has a link to the site at the top of this forum.

Wrestling "news" sites are mostly predictions and conjecture. I've read a few different reasons now why Nikki lost her hair.

There's not much you can do with hair that has been destroyed over time by bleach and then dyed purple.

You know.... if you really think about this, it's almost laughable. Here we are, supposedly "smart marks" or superfans or whatever it is we deem ourselves. Yet here we sit bickering over an angle done in a worked sport (i wonder if people are forgetting that perhaps). Nikki agreed to the angle or she wouldnt have got her head shaved, simple as that. And why did TNA do it? Perhaps to get fans talking and create a buzz about a lady wrestler getting shaved? Hmm... seems like it worked now didn't it? What it comes down to, as far as I can see, is people taking offense almost in a "she was ours before she was yours" kinda way and we see it as a personal affront to Shimmer and Shimmer fans, perhaps? We tend to think of Nikki as "our" Shimmer girl forever and ever but the truth is, at least for the moment, she has moved on to TNA and is making (probably) a lot more money than she was in Shimmer (no offense intended to Mr. Prazak should that be the case) so what is the real problem here? Nikki's getting noticed on national television and pay per views and becoming a success. Isn't that we WANT for our Shimmer alumni? I don't think the problem is that she's being noticed, it's that she's being totally misused. If she'd feuded with Love and Skye and lost her hair in a singles match after some decent build up then I really wouldn't object, but to lose it under those circumstances, where there is so much going on that nothing really registers, is such a a waste. Kim versus Roxxi in a singles match for the Title shot could've been excellent, and both would've come out stronger for it. Who benefits from the way that match was booked? Kim came across like a total heel, and a phony at that (What? She didn't realise her winning would cost Roxxi her hair until after immediately after she won?) even Love and Skye don't come across any more heelish, since they were only trying to protect themselves from the position that Cornette had put them all in. All in all I'd be amazed (not to mention very disappointed) if Scott D'Amore was responsible for booking that match.

I think it would be great if she were booked for July, but still came out as Roxxi Lebeaux.
That would piss people off good.

My problem w/ it is it didn't mean anything. They are supposed to be emotional moments that mean something. And really the fans didn't seem to care she was getting shaved. They were to busy chanting fire Russo or BS. Though I'm quiet confused about why the women seemed to care they didn't care enough to stop those two from getting involved and letting it be a fair fight ODB included as she has had problems w/ Velvet and Love. Or if Gail really cared she could have let Roxxi get the opportunity. There just so much retarded crap in it that it makes the luster of such a match lose it's meaning But you could say the same about any of TNA's angles. Everything is overbooked and unnecessarily complicated. This wasn't any different. So your REAL problem is an emotional attachment to a particular wrestler getting her head shaved. Get over it because she already has.

I've done said that TNA's entire booking is a clusterfuck. How many gimmick do we have a year. There is twelve months each holding a pay per view and every pay per view has a gimmick of some sort that there is really no luster to them. A Hair vs Hair/Mask vs Mask/Mask vs Hair used to be an honored tradition. Despite all the stupid stuff WCW did it's one of the things they got right in Juvi/Jericho.
