Hopefully, the head shaving will lead to a massive push for her, as a reward for taking one for the team. If she ends up in the same position she was in before, this was a massive waste and shows the rest of the roster that TNA brass don't mind taking liberties with its talent.

Gail didn't seem to care Roxxi until after she won. She is supposed to be the top babyface. Logically, there's no reason to care about your opponent before the match is over. If you care, you lose and I'm sure Gail wasn't too keen on spit shining her head every morning. Face or heel, that's just common sense. |

If anything, I'd say this plays in to the voodoo gimmick more. The character is a creepy, witch-like girl. If she's going to be a freak, going bald plays right in to it. Have you not been paying attention? TNA has turned her face and made the character less creepy over the last couple months. Shaving her head now is completely ass backwards. |

There is several people now that quit watching TNA due to Nikki losing. Hell, there is even a list going around of pissed off people on one forum, some people now are saying Ashley Massaro > Gail due to her beating Nikki. And others are wishing Gail would get injured and others are calling her John Cena.

There's plenty of reasons not to watch TNA, I have several of my own, but the people who may or may not have said what you claim are obviously piss-brained mongrels with no concept of wrestling and are lucky to not drown themselves in the shower every morning. |

Going to an ROH show doesn't give you brains, nor does it impress me. Nearly every ROH fan with a talk show or video blog is a drooling idiot and films out of their mother's basement. If I had a hundred bucks, a camera and a big hard-on for myself, I could have Daivari on a talk show, too. Gail going over was right for business. You don't bury your number one. Roxxi, much like ODB and a few others, is a novelty character. Gail is a franchise player in the Knockout division. If you hate her that much, then it's time to start watching something else. |

Obviously she isn't over if the entire impact zone almost rioted at the fact she won. Hell when she won the entire arena pretty much went dead until the shaving started which lead to the bullshit and fire russo chants. Hell even the on the road shows she gets no reaction. And she tends to botch moves quiet a ****ing lot which is why a lot of people hate her.

The problem with the hair stip is that it lends itself to a heel getting their comeuppance - I reckon it could have been any face and there would have been the same reaction.

As stupid as I felt the idea was, it doesn't hurt Nikki's character in TNA. She's meant to be the freak picked on by the beautiful people at the moment. Going bald and being picked on by them works in terms of her storyline and character. Now, I don't think they needed to do it to get her over with the crowd, and I wish they'd realise the division is best with straight-forward, SHIMMER-style booking, but it made sense that it was her. Ugh. I'm just feeling bitter about TNA at the moment. Gail Kim is becoming the Knockout's Batista in that, whatever happens, she gets another shot at the title. I know she's the central face and has been the lynchpin of the division, but it doesn't hurt to keep the main-event fresh. Anyway, hopefully, Nikki will be back in SHIMMER in July. She'll have shorter hair, but will still rock.  |

You really need to go back and read old threads. It's common knowledge that Nikki signed a contract with TNA, which prevented her from working wherever TNA doesn't want her to work. As I said in the original post, I wasn't sure if it had been discussed. Not everyone reads a novel before watching a movie. I wanted Dave to answer about 4/26, which he did. She could have been there if she didn't have another booking on the same date. So much for your "common knowledge." |
