That's about 20 more than their first taping. While that's somewhat encouraging, one has to wonder how much Molly Holly's appearance had to do with it.

Couple corrections/clarifications on the above... MsChif defeated Cindy Rogers in the first half of the taping, not the other way around as was reported in the results. Also, for those picky about numbers, attendance was just over 180 (plus a few comps to bring the crowd to a bit under 200 total in the building, which packed the small venue). February was just over 110. November was right under 100. This was the first time we had to set up seating on all four sides of the ring to accomodate the crowd, and add more rows of chairs along the sides of the building than in the past.
A big thanks to everyone who came to the show live and stuck around for over six hours of action! I'll post a more detailed message probably Tuesday morning (I have yet to get any sleep), and will get match times if no one there live was keeping track already. For those interested in that sort of thing, the longest match on the taping (and thus far in SHIMMER history) was Daizee/Knox 2 out of 3 falls, which clocked in at about 30 minutes or so. Del Rey/Martinez concluded at about 22 minutes.
Back tomorrow with more comments. Thanks again for your support!

Another fantastic effort. I was at the second taping and this was every bit as good, if not better, if only because Lacey made it to the event. I mark out for over-the-top heels, so she, Rebecca and Amber were a joy to watch as they presented their altered versions of reality. The fact they hit spots and sell like crazy is the cake to my preferred icing. Rain, Lexie and Malia were great, too. And Amazing Kong lived up to her name. Yikes. But what would they do without the good girls? I'm convinced Daizee could wrestle for an hour straight. Nikki Roxx? Anybody who gets in with Kong one-on-one and holds her own (for awhile) has my admiration. Honestly, a great effort by all involved, from vets like Allison, Melissa, and MsChif down to the rookies. Hopefully, we get to see more of what Portia can do in the future. Thanks, Shimmer.

Oh man I am jealous! I wish that here in Mexico we could have one day a company like Shimmer is right now.
Congratulations to all the girls and the people of Shimmer. They give to the female wrestling a respect and a credibility so great.

I'm sure that was a big boost to morale for the girls. 200 fans to an all female indy show is something special. SHIMMER may need a new venue in the future.
