We have never had 4 photographers/cameramen on one side of the ring at the same time. That's really stretching the truth, everybody. Sorry, Dave, but no it's not. See below. For most tapings we only have 2 DVD cameramen on the floor filming, and typically 2 photographers (Wally and Buddy). That's it. For 4/26, we also had George Tahinos in to shoot for Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Super Luchas. Yes, and Wally, Buddy and George were on the SAME SIDE of the ring for, if not the entire Volume 17 taping, then very nearly: the side to the left of the hard cam. That's three still photogs and one video camera, and while I wasn't a math major, that makes four. The side to the right had only the one handheld vidcam. Admittedly, by Volume 18, one of the still photogs had vanished from my side. If you like, I can dig through my raw photos to provide illustration of that, or you can look at the raw footage you've shot for the DVDs. But even without that, just look at the pictures that have been posted. Do you see anyone on the other side of the ring, apart from one video guy? I can't find one that shows another photographer over there with him. Just taking a look at the Preview of Buddy's Photos thread, I count 10 pics that were NOT taken from a vantage point facing the bar side, and most of those are taken from a corner back on the wall side facing back toward the entrance. And that's out of... what, about 70 pics in that thread? In the Preview of Walter Lipmann's Photos thread, I can't find a SINGLE one that isn't facing the bar side. I'm sorry for going off, but I don't like to be accused of lying, or "stretching the truth", when I'm not.

All of Buddy's pics from 4/26 are here... www.shutterfly.com/pro/tbdwpe/tbdwpeBuddy's position for virtually the entire taping was on the side of the ring that faces the stage/hard cam. That is why you can either see the stage, the video screen, or the bar (but only at an angle when he was shooting straight at the turnbuckles from that corner), in all of his shots. This was Buddy's corner for the majority of the taping... standing on the side facing the hard cam, with a ring post directly to his right... Mike Z (Floor B) was the secondary floor camera, on the side of the ring with his back to the bar for the entire taping. That was his position for the duration of the taping. Mike R (Floor A) was the main floor camera, and is generally on the side of the ring facing the bar, but does roam freely around the entire ringside area to get the best shots. George Tahinos and Wally both were positioned mainly on one of the two sides that Mike R and Buddy were on, depending on the match. No photographers are permitted directly blocking the hard cam shot. All I can really say to those who want to take issue with the photographers/cameramen is that we don't allow more at ringside than are absolutely necessary. We're not going to increase the number of them in the future, but we're also not going to remove anyone. They are all there for a reason. George is only sent to SHIMMER occasionally (so far he has only shot the title tourney weekend shows and 4/26), so we typically only have 4 bodies around the ring at our shows. Next time, I'll make sure Wally is positioned on the opposite side of the ring from either George or Buddy, just to even things out.

Holy moley - my ticket arrived today. It's actually happening. I followed through.
Is it wrong that I love when a random guy or two yells "Final Countdown!" at the start of the song?
Is it wrong to love the clapping to the beats of Lacey's and Portia's music?
Is it wrong to be excited about the possibility of hearing "NIKKI!!!" - "ROXX!!!" again?
Is it wrong to want to partake in something other than alcohol with Daizee Haze during that day?
Is it wrong to ask childish and pointless fanboy questions in a more annoying fashion than usual?
It IS wrong.

Is it wrong to want to partake in something other than alcohol with Daizee Haze during that day? I've always wondered that about The Haze. Is it all gimmick, or is there some recreational drug use there?

Smokey Times seems like an awfully weird thing to have a gimmick or character represent if the person behind it really isn't behind it, so I'm going to say that, in a hypothetical situation, it wouldn't be all "for show", if you will.
But I could be dead wrong and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered that myself.
Incidentally, I find it odd that you would automatically assume that that was what I was referring to - isn't that illegal in the U.S.? I want no part of illegal activities.

If you're not on our snail mail list already, or if your address has changed... send your full name and postal mailing address to shimmernews@yahoo.com and we'll add you. We send them to everyone, everywhere in the world. This will be on the other side of the flyer this time...

You can still put it up and call it a mini-poster.

They are small 4.25 x 5.5 cards. But let's imagine if a poster of that was marketed, maybe A2 on glossy paper... What would that be like? And what would it cost?
